I wanted to make it a surprise for my kids, because I didn't want to have to hear about it for 8 months. I ended up telling them last November though, because I didn't want to have to plan in secret or only talk to dh about it when they weren't around.

Yes, you can go through the buildings in several places, you don't have to walk all the way round.

How in the world have you kept it a secret for so long? I would be so excited I would have to tell my kids. Hence, the reason I have never kept it a secret for our past 5 and current trip coming up. Where do they think you are going? I am very impressed, cause I would have spilled the beans a long time ago. You are amazing!

I'm doing the secret thing too, or at least I'm really gonna try, so far so good. My dd is 7 so I'm not telling her until the morning we leave. For me, part of it is not hearing from her every single day about how we are going, lol For anyone that has kids they know how that goes Also, some close friends are meeting us there and I was going to tell her about that until we see her at the hotel, my friend is doing the same with her daughter. Wish us luck on keeping our traps shut

Companies should just give employees the day before their vaction starts the day off since not much work gets done anyways

Are you asking about a refurbished room? If so, the entire resort has been refurbished, all done.
