Port Orleans ferry to downtown

Where do you board the boat to downtown from POR? Approximately how long does the trip take take? Where does it leave you in downtown?

I'm sure the people who have been more recently than I have (2004) can tell you better, but the dock was at the back of the resort on the river and the trip didn't take half an hour. They dropped us off at Marketplace.

At POR the boat will pick up at the Marina just outside the food court. At POFQ it picks you up at the back of the resort.

If you are at POFQ - you are the 1st stop so you will make on stop at POR - total time about 30 minutes.

If you are at POR - it is about 15-20 minutes.

The 1st stop at DTD is Markeetplace and it drops you near Cap'n Jack's. There is also a stop at the West Side, but I am not 100% sure where that drops.

It drops you off near Cap'n Jacks and Rainforest. It does not make any other stops. There is another boat that goes to West Side but it is not the same boat that comes from POR/POFQ. IIRC the yellow flag boat is the one that goes to POR & POFQ. It is a very nice ride and you go right by the tree houses. They are really neat. Makes me think about DVC.

Just to clarify, the boats from POR/POFQ take you to Downtown Disney, *not* downtown Orlando.

The boat does not go from POFQ to POR and then back to DTD. It starts at POR, stops at POFQ, then on to DTD.

On the return trip, it stops at POFQ, then POR.
