Trying to decide on which resort for a three day stay in July. We will do a week offsite, but would like to add an extra three days on resort at the end. Last summer we split stayed at POR (I thought it was to large,) and Poly. We like trying new resorts. Also have done Art of Animation, Contemporary, and in two weeks will do ASM. It will be my husband and two kids , 13 And 9.

This will be the last trip for a while, since our annual passes will expire in August.

Which is better and why?

There is no such thing as “Fort Wilderness Lodge”. Fort Wilderness is the campground. Wilderness Lodge is a full service resort on the lake. It is a Deluxe (light).
POFQ is our favorite Moderate. It is small and well themed. It is less expensive than Wilderness Lodge but you would need to bus everywhere.

Thank you, title corrected. We would have a car, since we are coming from an offsite stay, so that won't be an issue.

Two of my favorites, for sure. But honestly, you can’t beat the beauty and grandeur of WL. Add the easy boat access to MK, laid-back mood, and superior dining options, and I think it’s the clear winner if it’s in your budget.

If the price difference is close or doesn't matter WL. I don't think there is a comparison between the two myself and I do really like POFQ.

You are comparing apples to oranges. FQ is my families favorite but Wilderness Lodge is beautiful on the inside and the boat ride to Magic Kingdom and the monorail line is a ride untoitself. And of course if you choose WL you will right there with Whispering Canyon which is another fun thing/meal to to.

If it's in the budget, I would do WL. There is so much to do there and the ability to boat to MK (or boat to CR and walk to MK) plus boat to Ft. W for activities and restaurants over there, just makes it such a wonderful destination. I could literally just sit in the WL lobby for hours. I do like POFQ, but, again, if you can afford it, I would opt for WL.
