Not the ship kind of port but rather the alcoholic beverage. DH is a big fan and I'd like to surprise him by taking him somewhere that serves port or port flights. Any ideas of a fun place that would still be okay to take the kids with us? Thanks!

Most if not all of the signature restaurants will have it... often on the dessert menu. Flying Fish even had a port flight (they will be closed most of this year though)

As noted, the higher end restaurants should have a selection or two. I have definitely had Port (or Port-style wines) at Jiko, California Grill, Il Mulino, Shula's and Citricos. That is not to say that other places do not have them. But these are the places that I can recall. Also, a really nice spot for a glass of Port would be Mizner's which is a cocktail lounge on the second floor of the Grand Floridian. This is our "go to" spot for a Single Malt at the end of a day, and I am certain that they would have some Ports, or would get you some from either Citricos or V&A, both of which are mere steps away from Mizner's.

You might also want to try the Wine bar at the Wave restaurant on the ground floor of the contemporary. I didn't go there my last trip, but they do have an extensive wine collection.

Mizners would probably be kind of small boring for the little kiddies. but it'd be a good place for Dad to stop in for a glass.

Since you'll have kids with you, might I suggest the Crew's Cup Lounge at YC? I know they have a small bar menu with fries and such.

DH is a big fan

1) I LOVE PORT. *
2) EVERY NIGHT, I break open the teapot and the port.
3) I typically go through a case of port monthly (12-bottles)
4) For selection, Mizner's at GF has
. . . Fonseca "27" Port,
. . . Dows 20 yr Tawny,
. . . Dows 30 yr,
. . . Ferreira 10 yr Tawny

* My preferred brand at home is Fonseca Ruby Port. Their Tawny Port is good, but I do not like the "oakey-ness" that is imparted to the wine from the longer fermentation in the barrel. (Ruby is a short fermentation, where Tawny has to be in-the-barrel for at least 2-years, and frequently go up to 10-15-20 years.)
