Port excursion through DCL meeting spots and Cozumel Beach break

Do they still have everyone doing it meet somewhere like a lounge? I didn't know if the virtual queue is just for those getting off the ship on their own or also for DCL excursions.
Also we're doing the Cozumel beach break. Whenever we go to CC we've always left our bag on the loungers whenever we get lunch. Never worry about it, but also don't take anything of value. If you've done the beach break since covid, what did you do with your stuff when you went to lunch? I know we will have our Disney "bubble" section on the beach, but still don't want to leave stuff without us. Could my dh bring food for us to the loungers or can you not bring the food there? Thanks

Yes, DCL port adventures still meet on the ship. The virtual queue is for people leaving the ship on their own (and for Castaway Cay).
