Port Canaveral Rental Car Shuttle is not accessible - Company has to pay for taxi?

Hi Gang, when Mom and I get off the Fantasy in November, I have rented a car to drive to Daytona. I called the rental car company, were using the Alamo/Enterprise location, and asked if the shuttle was accessible, since I dont want to leave mom alone in her whellchair with the luggage until i can come back with the rental car. their shuttle is not accessible - Do they have to pay for a taxi to their location since their shuttle is free? i know hotels do... are the rules the same for rental car companies?

By federal law they have to have accessible shuttles if they offer to able bodied people. In Disney world Alamo has them not sure if Disney makes them have them on property at all times. But I would call back ask to speak to a a manager remind them they have to by federal law provide you with a safe and accessible shuttle. Now not every one has to be accessible just enough to meet the Ada standards so they should be able To get one. If they don't tell them they are paying for a taxi to the place. If you have to contact the Ada.

I also call Disney cruise line I know it after the cruise but Alamo is a partner of Disney so they could help.
