PORS questions

DH and I are planning to stay at PORS December 5-10. We have stayed at CBR but not PORS and I was wondering how the two resorts compare size-wise. I know CBR is pretty spread out so how does PORS compare? It is hard to get an idea by looking at the map.

We are looking to stay in a king room that is located not too far from a bus stop or the food court in the Alligator Bayou area. We like the theming of this area better. Any building suggestions?

I am only counting 3 bus stops on the map I am looking at..is that correct? West Depot, North Depot and East Depot? Is there bus pick-up at the main resort entrance? Is there an internal bus or shuttle of any kind? It looks like it could be quite a walk to a bus stop if you stay anywhere near the food court.

There is another depot by the main building and food court. I have not stayed at CBR so I can't compare. We stayed in Oak Manor which is one of the mansions. We really liked it there. There is no internal bus other than the buses going to the parks that do circle to the different depots on their way to the parks. I didn't realize POR had king rooms. Most of the rooms in Alligator Bayou have two full beds and some have a trundle bed. Make sure you take the boat to Downtown Disney from POR. It is a very nice ride especially in the evening. Make sure you check out some of the other resorts. They will all be so beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations that time of year.

We just got back from POR yesterday and it was wonderful. Definatley request building 14, it is right next to the South bus depot and the main building (food courts, dining, general store) and right by the main pool. We were in 15 which is right next to 14 and was also really great. We loved it at POR!!!!! It is so quiet and beautiful. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Also there is an iron and board and hair dryer in the room. Also there is a coffee maker, but the coffee is not that good. i would suggest buying the mugs and filling them up in the food court, the coffee there is better.
