pork and stuffing in the crock pot !!

Hi everyone , don't think i have ever posted here but have been a lurker on occasion.. i thought i would share a yummy recipie i tried this weekend in my crock pot..

Pork and Stuffing Crockpot style

6 oz box of pork stuffing ( i used the store brand 0
1 granny smith apple chopped and peeled
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chicken or veggie broth
Mix this in large bowl and spray inside of crock pot, layer 1/2 bowl of stuffing mix in crock pot. place pork chops, roast , spare ribs
(pork of your choice - I used 2 large bone in chops ) on top then add other 1/2 of stuffing mix. cook on Low 6-8 hours and enjoy

thanks for the recipe. sounds delicious. winter is here so its crock pot season in my house. as a matter of fact, i have a beef stew cooking in in right now for supper tonight!

Do I make the stuffing or put it in dry?

Hi Spinning - you mix the dry stuffing mix with the apples, onion , cranberries, melted butter and broth ( so its wet not just dry )
