Reserved POR FQ for Disney Marathon (!!!) long weekend. I've stayed at there before and enjoyed it, and due to some reading of posts am considering (1) Coronado Springs, and (2) upgrading to Wilderness Lodge.

Can I get some comments/thoughts/etc., from y'all?

Thanks!!

Since you've been there before, why not try something different?

Have you had a chance to visit either of your other choices on previous trips? I took a look at WL on a previous trip and would love to stay there sometime. I haven't seen CS, but it's on the list. I would recommend touring the other resorts if you have the time (perhaps get lunch or dinner while you're there).

Your transportation options don't really change with CS or WL. Mostly bus transportation, except WL to MK which is by boat (I think).

WL is less centrally located than Port Orleans, but it shouldn't make THAT much difference.

I haven't personally stayed at WL or CS, but I would stay at a resort I haven't stayed at before repeating (assuming the budget agrees). Especially if you've got multiple trips in your past and, most likely, in your future.

Have fun whatever you decide!

I can't answer for Coronado Springs or Wilderness but I can say what a lovely resort French Quarter is. I would not hesitate to stay there again!!

Of the 3, I definitely prefer PO-FQ!

Of course, since you have stayed there before, either of the others would likely be nice. Since you will be there in the winter, the theming of the WL really lends itself to that time of year.

I'd try the CSR next! We went to explore and eat there last trip and it was very pretty! They have there own bus system that doesn't share with any other resort. Plus because there are a lot of convention people there, I heard the busses are never really that crowded.

Personally I'd stay away from the WL until they solve the transportation problem I've been reading about. They use to have their own busses but now share with the Campground and I've read some real horror stories lately. It's a wonderful resort though and use to be my favorite till we stayed at AKL.

Have a great trip!
