POR w/ Ddp or YC without?

I am having such a hard time deciding between my two final choices for January. Initially I book YC because of the ease of walking to Epcot. I got the winter discount, but it wasn't great. Mostly, I keep thinking that for the same money as above, we can stay ay POR with dining included. The Pros of YC seem somewhat negated by it being winter, as in, we probably won't use the pool at all and won't need a mid day break as much because it won't be Hot. We are mostly used to Deluxe though, but the cost savings is Huge. Has anyone switched to lower category for FD or SPD and how did you feel about it?
