POR vs. POFQ - Busses

I understand that POFQ is the first stop for the busses, but does that necessarily mean that those who stay at the POR stand a greater chance of having to stand on the busses because they are the second stop? Do the busses get that crowded for those two resorts?

It depends on what time of year you visit. We stayed at the POFQ the end of June beginning of July and there were a few times that the people at POR had to stand, and there were some times when our buses were already full that they by passed the POR.

If the Bus fills up at POFQ they dispatch another bus to POR but if it wasnt full yes it would increase your chance of standing

I was wondering this, too. We are planning a May/June trip and would love to try the POR. Does anyone know in what order the buses stop? Are any building locations better for bus transportation?? Thanks!!

Based on the pictures I've seen of both resorts, I like the POR better. My main concern is the bus situation. Going with 3 little ones and hate the thought of them having to stand for the ride to the parks.

Anyone else have any experience with either PO resorts and the busses?

We stayed at PO-Riverside two times, once in Sept and once in Oct. BOTH stays we encountered busses that were full--not even any standing room. One morning we waited almost 2 hours for an Animal Kingdom bus that wasn't already full by the time it got to us.

We'll never stay there again. If you're worried about bus service, go with POFQ. POFQ also has 1st loading privileges for the boats to Downtown Disney.

Okay, an additional question now...

Looking at a resort map of the POFQ, it appears that there is only one bus stop for the resort. Is that correct? And if so, how crowded does that one stop get?

Also, I am curious to as to the order of the stops (like ciera321 asked) once the bus reaches the POR.

Anyone know the answers to these 2 questions????

Morning (7-11am) routing is dynamic. By this, I mean, there is NO fixed route. Buses are dispatched based on demand. ANY stop could be the first stop.
