Just read this advice on another site:
If you're going to Typhoon Lagoon via the bus, be prepared for a ride! The bus will stop at all 3 POR stops, then the FQ, then off to Old Key West, then both stops at Downtown Disney and then Typhoon lagoon. It took us 45 minutes to reach Typhoon Lagoon from our bus stop. To avoid this, hop on the boat to Downtown Disney and grab the Typhoon Lagoon bus there!! I will note that on the return, it was direct bus service and we were at the resort in 10 minutes.
Anyone with POR bus experience can you comment? Wouldn't the half hour boat ride to DTD and then walking to the DTD bus stop take just as long? I guess the boat ride might be more pleasant, but we stayed at OKW back in 2005 and I don't think we would mind the bus ride down memory lane.
