POR to Contemporary...Drive or Disney transpo?

Hi,
After a day of travel, we have to go to the Contemporary to get tickets through SOG. I thought it might be fun to relax and take Disney transportation instead of getting back in the car, but... how relaxing is it to do the following? We could take the boat or bus from POR to Downtown Disney and pick up a resort bus. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks!

You can also take a resort bus to the Magic Kingdom. The contemporary is a very short stroll from the bus stop. You can also hop on the monorail from the MK and take it to the Contemporary.

Thanks for the great suggestion, Pumbaa! Our 7 year old loves the monorail. Walking from the MK sounds nice, too...especially if it's a warm and sunny afternoon. It's been a cold winter here in Maine!

We just got back Thursday night Melee, it was so nice! Do you realize people can go outside year round down there? I keep wondering why I live in CT!

If you don't mind taking a lot of time to get from one resort to the other, then Disney transportation is fine. If you want to get there quickly, drive!

Hi Pumbaa,
It must seem extra cold to you having just returned from Orlando.My family usually enjoys winter activities but it's just too cold to skate, sled or even ice fish. I hope it at least gets into the 20s next weekend. My daughter's Girl Scout trip is participating in dogsled racing.

Thanks for the advice merrily. I just found out the SOG office is open until 9pm. I thought we had to be there by 5 pm. After settling in at POR we should have plenty of time to wander around on Disney transportation.
