So I tried to search for this info and can't quite seem to find a comparison of the two. My husband and I are in our 30's and will be coming at the end of February/beginning of March. We are child free.

Which of the two resorts do you recommend?

On our last visit (in 2003) we stayed at the CBR-which we liked, but we are looking for something a little more intimate and romantic.

Thanks

Haven't stayed there, but for what you are looking for, go with French Quarter. Riverside is like CBR - Very spread out with many bus stops.

Thank you both for the info.

Does anyone happen to know why FQ would be less expensive than Riverside for the same time period? The only thing I can think of is perhaps they have more availability?

Hello-

We have stayed at both and like the FQ much better:

Smaller Size of resort
Only one bus stop
Themeing (very New Orleans)

As far as food FQ only has a food court, no sit down restaurant which does not bother us because we always eat big meals offsite.

Other people like POR for:
Bigger resort, bigger pool
Sit down restaurant on site
Themeing

You can't go wrong with either and if one is cheaper do that one.
