We will be arriving at WDW on 4/22/06, the last day of the peak season, and staying for 7 nights. The WDW site is charging me the peak season rate for all 7 nights. Can I make 2 different reservations? The peak season price is $20 more per day and I also want to add the dining. How can I do this?

You would need 2 reservations to get both prices. Maybe just book room only for 1st night and then a pkg w/dining for the rest of the trip.

That's exactly what we did for our trip, Dec 31st we only have the room for 1 night because it's peak season, and then we have a package for January 1st to Jan 7th!

So the first day we won't have the dining plan, right? I can deal with that.

Yes, that's right! But you know often the first day be the time you get at check in and you eat something, its almost time for bed!!!

If you do the two reservations thing, just be prepared to switch rooms on the second day, because you may need to do that. They don't guarantee that you'll get the same room for both reservations.

If you don't mind that hassle (to me it's worth the $$ you'll save), then do it!
