POR preferred and standard locations

We have booked 5 rooms for Sept 2014. My father in law just turned 70. They don't get around horribly but not great either. Was wondering about upgrading their room to a preferred room so they would be closer to the busses. Since our room reservations are all linked, do you think the other standard 5 person rooms would be placed in buildings 16 or 17, since they are close to the preferred rooms?

They will try to keep you close together. But it's not guaranteed unless you all upgrade.

I would upgrade both rooms. Otherwise you could end up on opposite sides of the resort.
