We have booked our Disney Vacation and are currently all set to go in August staying at the POR. We are so excited. I am a bit nervous though, first about making the right choice about the resort and second about the time of year we have booked. It will be my husband and I and a 5 year old. Do you think our child would enjoy the FQ more than POR? Which is nicer? Also, is August going to be blazing hot and humid? Should we rebook to say October? Is October going to be an off season and then I worry about attractions being closed. We are staying for 5 nights. Also this may sound silly seeing that Orlando is inland but people keep saying that we are going during hurricane season. Any thoughts????? Advice?????

My son & I love the FQ! It's our favorite and we can't wait to go there again now that it's reopened. We like that it is smaller. The pool is awesome! :Pinkbounc Your son will love the slide. We've gone in May and in October. I like October better. As long as you go in early October and daylight savings time hasn't occured yet, the park scheduled hasn't changed too much. The weather is really nice in early October too. Plus, FQ has it's own bus; it used to anyway; hopefully it still will. ::yes:: I've never stayed at the other POR, but have visited it. It's really big, like Caribbean Beach which we have stayed at and liked a lot too. We used the DD boat almost every night too. An added bonus at either POR. FQ is a little shorter ride. Whichever you decide, you'll have a great time! You're in Disney after all!! :hyper:
