We are staying at POR the first week of October. We have a request for a room with a Trundle Bed. Is there any specific building or area we should ask for, one that will be close to the busses will be most important.

I can't really help you 2x, but wrote to wish you luck and I hope you enjoy yourself at POR. We're going to stay in November and would love to hear all about the resort when you return.
I believe the AB section has the trundles and that section is quite close to the bus stop. Good luck!

We stayed in a trundle room in building 17 and it was a great location. It is right next to a quiet pool and the laundry, a short walk to the food court and the bus stop, and the landscaping was beautiful.

Most folks request buildings 14 and 15 (including us) but once we got to our room we were quite happy with the location we got.

We'll be there in the beginning of October, too. We requested building 14. It's close to the main building and to the bus stops. Not sure about whether trundle beds are available in that particular building.

We always request bldg 14, but never get it (over 10 stays @ POR) - I've read they use it for those with disabilities? However, we usually get our 2nd choice bldg 27 -it's just 2 bldgs down & a great location! It's surrounded by trees, so no parking lot views possible & it's close to everything: main bldg, old man island, & south depot. Ask for a corner room - you'll get 2 windows!;)

Yes, it does have trundles.

We just returned from our first stay at POR. We stayed in bldg 18 in Alligator Bayou. Our room had a trundle bed. This building was in a great location. Right next to a quiet pool and a short walk to the main building and the bus stop.

The CM actually asked me at check in if I had a preference of Magnolia Bend or Alligator Bayou and I simply asked for a building close to the main building and bus stops and that's where they put us. I was very happy with our room.

The resort was very quiet when we were there, the parks were nearly empty and we didn't wait in line for anything. The resort must not have been very crowded either because we never had to really wait in line at the food court either and I've heard that it can get pretty busy down there @ mealtimes.

Well....I wish you luck and have a great time!!!
