Popular Bridal Hairstyles - What did you have?

I used Salon Salon (which is listed on that contact sheet), and we all had so much fun. We brought wine (turns out they actually had wine for us already - LOL), fruit and sandwiches, and they basically shut the place down for us. It was just us (their were 10 of us) and about 4-5 stylists. We were completely done in a few hours, and we had fun while we were there.

I originally planned to have someone come to us (I even had a hair trial with one vendor), but I'm glad we went to the salon. My hotel room wasn't a mess after the wedding, and we all had so much fun. It's a great group of stylists there. And it's literally a 5 minute drive; you can practically see Disney property from the salon.

I have a friend who had a DFTW in September 2006 as well, and she did the same thing. I sawhow great she and her friends looked and I knew it was the place I wanted to go.

Everyone looked fabulous too, here's a picture from my wedding:

My friend all the way to the right in this picture said, "Dare I say that I think I look better today than on my own wedding day." LOL. Hilarious.

Moonpie-- Those are gorgeous pictures-- you look so beautiful! I love the lace on your gown!

May I ask where you got your headband? I love it!

That sounds like alot of fun! I have a very small bridal party, but I think it is nice when everyone can go and get dolled up. Was it a far drive to the place?

I really like Icats hair. In fact, I think her hair turned out better than her inspiration picture!

JJclemson, and luna99, thank you so much for the compliments! :)

Thanks! princess: I first saw this headpiece featured in Martha Stewart Weddings. I ordered the headpiece online here...
http://www.leahc.com/bridal.html
but you won't find the headband on that site anymore! She does still make them, and sell them. Just send her an email and request the "1920's style bandou". :cutie:

I'm really new at this, I didn't even have my hair professionally done for my prom! But how much does an wedding hairdo usually cost? Just a ballpark range if that it possible. I am willing to spare no expense for my hair because it will be the only day in my entire life that it will actually look nice!!

Thanks! :)

I just saw another picture of your gown in the bridesmaid dress thread and WOW! It is so unique and gorgeous! I love your style!

Here is mine

I had it almost all down with just a bit taken off my face in the front and put in the back so my head piece could hold it. I thought this would look really pretty with flowers, too! Sorry I don't have better pictures- hopefully when I get a cd.

You looked gorgeous. I love your bag by the way.

Soooo embarassed! I thought my getting ready photo hadn't posted! I don't know what I was thinking!

Thanks! The purse came from David's Bridal and I found it two days before the wedding! I returned my original bag and saved lots of $$$$$!:cool1:

Actually, I carried it for like five minutes- my MOH held it and had it for me when I needed to go to the restroom, touch-up lip stick, etc. The rest of the time it just sat by our sweethear table.

Kind of a different question...but do you have to do the bouquets thru Disney? Just wondering....
