Last Day….

Friday was our last day (sob sob) and although I was sorry to be leaving I was also worried about:
A) Whether or not I was going to get into the parks because of my ticket,
B) The flight home.

Before heading off to breakfast we dropped our cases at the left luggage and popped our card key into the box in reception. We arrived to eat just before 7.45 and were seated straight away, 20 minutes later we were on our way to the parks. We took a few pictures on the way.

I thought it best to speak to someone at the entrance before I tried to put my ticket in. The CM I spoke to was really nice and although she didn’t understand what had happened either she assured me it would ok. With that she put my ticket through which I am pleased to say worked just fine. So if anyone ever has this problem you can rest assured that your ticket will work.

First stop was of course Buzz Lightyear which I think has now become my Daughter’s new best ride. Once again I managed to lose and this time I can honestly say that it was all down to me!!
We had a walk round the park looking at things that we had missed before heading over to the Studios in time for the opening of the gates. Today the plan was quite simple, my Daughter once through the gates was to run her fastest and not stop until she reached Crush where I would catch her up. It was much busier today, maybe it had something to do with it being a Friday but we were still about 40th in line I would say. Not as good as yesterday but good enough.
This ride is just great; I could ride it again and again. (Well if the queuing time wasn’t so long I could)
Next it was over to Tower of Terror, where we had to grab a fastpass because the queue time was already up to 45mins. Instead we walked over to Rock n roll coaster and went on that instead. Now I knew what to expect it was much less scary today as was the Tower of Terror which i actually managed to enjoy. I never thought that would happen !!!

We wondered round for a while took a few pictures before heading back over to the other park for a last go on BTM.
Now I thought that queueing for over an hour was bad on Monday but today, well at first glance I thought it said 20 mins, brilliant I thought, until we got up close and realised it in actual fact said 120mins. I was sure there must be some mistake but no the CM informed me that it was in fact correct. So fastpass it was then but the return time was 2 hours away which sadly meant we would only be able to ride it the once.
Whilst we waited we had a go on Indiana and then sat down and got a drink soaking up the atmosphere.

Sadly it was soon time to say goodbye to both the parks and we headed off to Annettes diner for a late lunch before heading back to our hotel to collect our cases and get the VEA. We took some last pictures of the Sequoia Lodge along the way.

Now I thought getting the VEA would be straight forward. Get the red and yellow bus all the way to CDG, but oh no, not today. A white bus pulled up that had the word Navette written all down the side. The driver opened the doors and asked where we were going, after informing him CDG and that we wanted the VEA he said yes this is the VEA. I must admit I did feel slightly uneasy as this is not what I was expecting at all, plus we were the only ones on it. When we got to the Newport Bay he told us we had to get off and go and get on another bus to continue our journey. By now I am really starting to panic, I have never been to the Newport Bay before and have no idea where I am supposed to be going. After grabbing our cases I ran to find someone to ask and am informed that I am to get on another white bus parked up the road and that is the VEA to CDG.
Good god, what a performance. I am pleased to say that it was the correct bus although we did struggle to get our cases on as the bus was already packed. A very kind man helped put them in the luggage hold. Also I was never asked for my VEA tickets, I still have them now !!

Our arrival at CDG filled me with dread, I knew we had to be a Terminal 2F but that was about it. After the problems we had had coming I had no idea if I was supposed to jumping on a train this time or not. The driver seemed to drop everyone off here telling them that that is where he stops and you can get to all terminals from there.
I was speaking to a lady with a young baby who was just a confused as me but she had to get to Terminal 2B I do hope she managed to get to where she needed to be !!
As for me well, it was simple in the end, far easier than getting here. We went straight in read the board and found out where we needed to check in. The only problem now was we had nearly 3 hours to kill. Great !!!

The plane journey home was uneventful. I felt ok this time but my daughter did not, she felt sicker than when we came and missed the whole of London lit up at night as looking out of the window made her feel worse.

We were sad to be home (well I was) as we had a fantastic time. I have a few regrets, I regret that we didn’t get to watch the Lion King show, the parade in the Studios and that we never saw the stunt show.
However, I have already booked to go back in October so I can hopefully do all those things then. YIPPEE !!!!!!
