Lori, you sure know how to kill a thread!!

I can see we were all busy today!! we had a full day of blahh and then we went and saw Sals aunt and she looks fabulous! sO it was fun in the end, just tiring.

I'm off to bed now, but wanted to pop in! Autumn has an appt tomorrow and we will probably try and see Ratatouille, but who knows if we will have time!

Have a good one!

We saw Ratatouiee last week. I want to see Evan Almighty but its not showing here.

Hey guys, we went out to lunch today for my b-day (I originally typed "work" instead of "lunch"...what a blast!:rotfl: ).

Chris-Was it you who had the advanced psych degree? I'm kind of worried my husband isn't dealing well, but he refuses to see a doctor (hasn't in 6 years), or talk to our pastor or anything (typical guy thing, I think). He keeps blaming himself for what happened. Any brilliant ideas to help him?

Hi gang,
I'm too excited to sleep!!
Ok, so i got some great news, but you all know me well, so you have to guess.

A) Mr. FDNY Has been promoted to FDNY Chief of the fire dept..

B) MRS FDNY Is expecting. ( ok, i give you a hint this isn't it. So don't choose this one).

C) I'm Going to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D) I just got home from buying a new car.

E) I just looked at and been approved for a new house.

F) We just got home from the animal shelter were we adopted a new puppy.
Can you guys guess????????

Now you know when taking a multiple choice test the correct answer the majority of the time is "C." And I'm going to further guess that it will be while I'm there!

We are back from the movies and i LOVED ratatouille!!! the kids and even Sal really enjoyed it too!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! it was soo cute and it had to be, since mice and ragts give me the heebie jeebies! but i ended up tearing up too!

Have a good one! we're headed out for a walk!

Hi everyone!

The party was great on Friday and then I won $125 at the casino yesterday! :cool1:

I went to a jewelry show today and bought a ton of strands that I need to do something with!

PJ- I'm going to guess "C" too!

Hi gang - wow - this is going to be hard to type...without sobbing...

I may have to cancel my sept trip...ok I probably have to cancel our sept trip. We have a huge insurance deductible...and Gracie's surgery is going to cost us $3000. I just don't know if I can scrape together another $2k for the trip. MIke of course says to just cancel it, what the H*** does he know, he hates disney. I've spent my weekend alternating between being mad as hell and crying. I'm still trying to figure it out, but it doesn't look too promising.

Hey Rebecca - yep it's me. Is he going about daily living stuff? Going to work, eating, doing all that normal stuff? If he's not then it's a problem. If he still is, he just seems "stuck" to you...thats probably ok. Everyone deals with grief so so SO differently. Like how on earth could it be HIS fault? what the sperm he donated wasn't "good" enough? See it makes no sense to US but to him that could very well be a rational thought. It's still new...give him a couple more weeks to sort it thru on his own before you worry. His logical self is probably beating up his emotional self right now....first he feels awful, second he feels awful for feeling awful, third he feels awful that he can't stop feeling awful. See what I mean? It's a big old cycle. You worry about YOU right now! YEs I know you said you're feeling pretty ok...that's great...keep focusing on YOU! He'll probably be ok, just in a different time frame than you. Guys don't talk about grief the same way. You can cry with your girlfirends, he can't. Especially about a baby! The couples I've met who've suffered a miscarriage, it's almost harder on the guy...when it's a full term baby they can grieve, 'cause it's a baby....they have a harder time grasping grief when it's a miscarriage - which in our minds is just a younger baby - almost like it's not tangible enough for them. kwim?

hang in there

AUGHHH!!!!! my nose is running and i have no clue why! okay back to normal:

Morning everyone, it's was a crazy weekend.

Chris   hug: That's a tough decision to have to make. Is there any other money raising alternative? Garage sales? Ebay? Craigslist?

Rebecca, Hope the weekend was good to you and DH and the princess princess:

Hope monday brings everyone back online

Good Morning!

Chris- I'm sorry that you might have to cancel the trip. Could you possibly take a few days off the trip? Or raise some money?

Rebecca- I hope you and DH are doing well. :grouphug:

Morning all!!

Chris, I am so sorry that you have to cancel your trip. Could you pay your deductible over time? (I really don't know how that works.) The hospital probably wouldn't care how they get their money just so long as they get it. KWIM?

I want to go to WDW sooo bad after Thanksgiving b/c I looooove the holiday decorations. But I think we might go in April after the Easter/Spring break craziness is over. We will see. November might happen but I won't like not having the time to get the ADRs I want b/c of last minute planning. Last November was last minute (about 35 days) and I didn't get any of the ADRs I wanted.

Plus I think that if we go in the spring then we could go more days.

Blahhh I have having to wait until next November to go to theWORLD again! we have tried to see where we can fit in another trip, but with Mexico in July and the baby being so small prior to that, it's just kind of stuck.

Augues-September are no-nos for us now & We thought about October to do MNSSHP, but we are dying to get back to the holiday decorations, cooler weather and emptier parks :) :)

I know! Once we fell in love with the holiday decorations and all that, there was no turning back. I love disney year round, but seeing it without the holiday decorations makes me miss them.

Maybe I will try out a ticker for end of April to see how bad it looks. I need to find out when the school testing is over, which I am sure the school will not know until Christmas. :headache:

Jen - Yea we probably could pay the hospital the money over a few months....but dh refuses to owe anyone anything - no balance on any credit cards, no outstanding bills etc...while i understand it's a good practice - i still hate it.

I could probably make $600 or so on ebay selling stuff. No where near the amount I need.

I seriously think I'm going to look into going back to work. This is the only thing dh & I argue about - vacations. He doesn't like the idea of going to Disney every year - I think it's wonderful. I want to see the rest of the world - he doesn't. If I can get a job any money I make could go into a vacation fund...& get used only for that. I looked into getting certified as a real estate appraiser. We know several here and I could easily get work after certification. I could take 4 weekend courses Sept-Nov and be done. Then I'm guessing I could clear around $10k a year working part time. I dunno, I'm still flustered and upset, I need to wait to think it through

OMG, honestly, that is us!!! Sean is like, "disney every 6 months??". If I worked, maybe he wouldn't question traveling so much. BUUUUUT, I need to be available for Jul. I am thinking about subing. That is pretty much all I can do right now. I need the school holidays, breaks, summer off.
