OK, I booked the "Cool Dude" experience for Ryan. Cost is $10.00 and it lasts about 20 minutes. I say that is a bargain for WDW! I had to switch around my Planet Hollywood ADR, but they had plenty of openings after 2:15 up until about 4 if anyone is interested. This will be great for MNSSHP! I hope he enjoys it!
My travel agents has done everything for us on this trip and this is the FIRST time I have called WDW ressies myself. Wow, it was fun listening to the music in the background. Really put me in a Disney state of mind!

I bought 2 in that style, solid green and the black COACH style
I used the green one last month and it worked perfect!

I just have to decide which one to take next month!

I just woke up, and today is the day that I make SINGLE DIGITS! Can't believe it's just nine more days to go. Seems like not too long ago, I was counting down from something like...160 days? I guess I should starting thinking about getting ready. I still have one more ADR to book...

And this thread has turned into quite a monster. It seems like everytime I catch up, I leave for a bit, come back, and I find myself about 4 pages behind. I don't think I can even try and keep up anymore...

Is there ANYONE else who doesn't have their paperwork???
I used a Travel Agent, and apparently Disney mailed my stuff out to them August 21
They - and therefore I - had not gotten anything by the middle of last week.
They called.
As of last Wednesday, Disney was reprinting (and, I'd hope, resending) my paperwork.
Still nothing.
If my paperwork arrives there tomorrow (today's mail's already in), that leaves only FIVE days for it to get to me, via Priority mail.

Am I unreasonable to be , , , , ...?

My mom had that problem too. She used whatever travel agency sponsors the website mousebuzz.com. She called and emailed and called and emailed and they treated her like she was annoying. Her paperwork finally came a few days before her trip. Her ME dates were wrong and only included outgoing tags, not incoming! She also never got a room credit she was issued for her trip, but they did send her a check for it after she got back.

Thanks for the lists. I'm going to work on it tonite after DD goes to sleep. I've been talking about Disney so much, and some of my staff didn't even know I was going! I guess I need to announce it at the staff meeting or something.

Actually, I need some help with someone...does anyone work as a manager? I'm redoing our employee handbook because it really sucked. It didn't say much of anything. I doubled the size pointing out all the things the staff should be doing. I'd appreciate it if anyone is willing to read over it for me and give me some pointers.

Hmmm, we could replace the LGMHPCs with purple bra straps as the "secret Dis identification". But, I don't think anyone would want to see my hairy, monster of a husband in a purple bra.

Seriously, though, I would much rather see someone's bra strap than to see someone sans bra who really needs it. And the colored bras are too cute not to show a little of it.

kaytie - call disney yourself.
Just be nice, and 9 times out of ten, they'll be nice to you. Let them know you're worried and why and they should be able to reassure you. I'd even call Pop directly (as long as it is less than seven days until your trip).

I really wanted to get a pedicure before we go, but I got a blister this weekend and don't want to risk getting an infection.

Thank goodness I have some OPI nail polish lying around. I'll need to repaint my toes tonight.

Less than 3 days to go for us!


I went to Walmart this morning because I needed travel hair gel and $100 later I now have more stuff to pack. I did not get a pretty bra like everyone is talking about (great idea!) but I did buy some undies with tinkerbell on them for me. My dd will get a kick out them (probably be a hit w/ dh too )

I also got my girls disney wallets for their disney dollars and some disney themed halloween cards. I figure I will take the cards w/ me to the park and get them signed discretely by a few characters and then I will leave the cards out for my girls the morning we go to MNSSHP.

Question: I got a tube of the stick sunscreen. Is this okay for my carryon? We arrive Sat afternoon and I would hate to be without sunscreen.

Thanks, everyone! I'm NOT worried about my ADRs - because I made those all myself (except somehow, one of them was entered under the Travel Agency's phone number, but I've quadruple-checked and they're all MINE now - thank goodness, because the 'lost' one way Le Cellier!).
DME sent that packet directly to me - I talked to them myself (because I don't think waiting until a week and a half before I go for the TA to check up on that was sufficient )
I can't call Pop directly yet - Friday will be seven da... hey! I'm in SINGLE DIGITS!! but I WILL be calling Disney when I get home tonight. I'm serious about not (yet) cancelling the SUV I have reserved, just in case...
