I lost the baby last night. I was in the hospital all day today. Kind of bummed (obviously).

OHNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sorry. Had you guys told dd yet? Sometimes I think telling the kiddos is the hardest part. While I've never experienced the same kind of loss, I've been thru it with many many friends. I'm so sorry. My thoughts, my prayers and love are all being sent your way tonight

Well we decided that maybe it was the pain meds making Gracie sick. We switched to tylenol#3. So far so good. She ate a big bowl of noodles for dinner!!! Although she did manage to sleep today until about 5pm....OMG it's gonna be a long night! But that's ok....i'm just beyond thrilled that she's stopped getting sick & has kept some food down.

Morning all!
We are going up to Breckenridge this morning for some shopping. It's supposed to be 69 degrees up there and some showers off and on. Yeah, this AZ gal is going to wear jeans! I am such a wimp.

Last night was a good night...Grace slept thru the night without waking up in pain. Hopefully today will be good.

it's stinking HOT I'm kinda glad to be stuck in the a/c for 4 or 5 days!!!

Chris--DH is sad. I think he's doing some retail therapy. He took DD and went out to Lowe's to buy a bunch of stuff for the house: a weedwacker, some blinds, tomato cages, maybe some towel racks. I think I was more prepared for this than him. He never thought there was a possibility.

Yea I understand that, it's also probably harder for him to talk about it. How far along were you again? Not that it matters, someone told me once that it doesn't matter if you're pregnant for a day...when you lose a baby, no matter what the "age" you lose part of the future...the instant you discover you're pregnant, your mind works overtime...imagining....and regardless of what your future now holds - if there are more kdis....this one won't be joining you in person...& that's awful.

I'm sorry...talk about it as much or as little as you need ok?

I was 8.5 weeks. I think it does matter how far you are. I know I would be so much more devastated if the baby was already 6 months along. I didn't really have much time to bond, since the baby's hearing wasn't even developed yet, so what I'm losing is our dreams for the future. We had already started getting baby stuff out, and putting it in what was going to be the baby's room. I think if I were further I would feel more bonded.

Morning everyone hahah! i have to get to bed! We just got home fromt he Drive In we have a fabulous time and i must say GO SEE TRANSFORMERS! it was sooo good we also saw Live Free or Die Hard and I think Bruce WIllis looks great in this movie
