On the radio, they were saying that today is "blue monday". A psychologist somewhere named today the most depressing day of the year. Evidently a combo of bad weather, less sun, christmas debts, and broken resolutions.

Bummer huh?

They said that people should get up, get dressed, try to look good, listen to happy music, and then I got out of the car.

HI i'm baaack!!!

i heard this too on the radio! i don't feel gloomy, haha! just overwhelmed and it's only monday! :lmao:

hahaha!! sooo many people that don't like theirs!

Did you spend forever picking out your childrens'?

We did and i wonder if some day they will dilike theirs!

Picking out Julia's name was pretty easy. I wanted my sister's middle name for her middle name. So I made a list of names with her middle and our last and Julia looked the best.

But, if we were to have another, I know it would be so much harder. I guess b/c you see the permanency of it after your first child. I would be way more indecisive and mull over it all so much more.

Boys names are the HARDEST! it took us up into the delivery room to settle on Gabriel! we did sooo many searches and all that junk! i think i had like 12 baby name books! hahaah!!! i just got rid of them at the garage sale last summer!!

I already have my kids names picked put and I don't even have any kids yet!:rotfl: The first boy will be named after Steven and for a girl I like Emily. If I have more kids then that I don't know what their names will be yet.:rotfl:

That's okay! It is easier before the fact though. For some reason, when you are staring it down, it gets alot harder. :confused3

Thanks, I figured that. But I need quite a few documents notarized, but I couldn't picture a notary following me all over town, etc. :confused3

When my mom died - since she had nothing to her name, I guess she felt she didnt need a will. But, not having a will also means no one has access to your medical records or anything. You have no one to speak for you after death if you dont have it documented.

Soooo - since I was her only child and she wasnt married, I went and downloaded a "Small Estate Affidavit" (since her estate was WAY small) and filled it all out and went to the currency exchange. They notarized...bam-bam. Stamp, sign...back over to me.

I walked out thinking - I could do this with ANYONE! Drain a bank account and leave for Tahiti for life!!! No verifications, no nothing at the Currency Exchange.

Try going there....

Ummm - I dont mind my name. I remember not caring for "cathy" much though. I would watch game shows as a child, and noticed all the fat women were named "Kathy" or "Cathy". But I think my name flows well - plus Catherine is my mom AND my Grandma's name. Its not bad.

My oldest son - I REALLY thought (wished) he was a girl. So, I made a deal with my ex husband - he could name the boy, I'd name the girl - Well my ex husbands name is Joseph, so there ya go! I like his name *now* - it fits him well, I would have preferred his middle name, as his 1st name though: Anthony. AND one thing I do like - Ive made it clear since day one, I DONT like the name "Joe" and at age 15, going on 16, he still goes by "Joey" :)

Danny again - thought (wished) he was a girl, as well. And my heart was set on "Molly". 2 days before my scheduled delivery I found out Molly would be a BAD BOYS NAME!!! :sad2:

So - although Joseph was my ex's name, it was also his Grandfather's name - my grandfathers name was "Dan" - so I used Daniel. I wish I had just used "Dan" though - cuz I HATE Daniel. :confused3 I like Danny and Dan. And his middle name: Quinn - after the TV show Sliders, main character.
