Swimming was great! Grace had a ball! They moved her up to level 3 instead of level 2...so she was swimming the entire length of the pool (who knew I didn't know she could do that!)

Last night we had a Birthday Party for Dr. Seuss at school....about 50 families, brought blankets, dr. Seussbooks we met in the gym, our principal read a story, a lady from the library read a few dr. seuss books, and we had bday cake. It was really fun! Grace won the door prize! A $25 gift card to Borders!!

Mike got his first bonus check from the new bank yesterday....that was really fun...but now it's already gone We decided to pay off both of our cars....while it took the whole bonus, plus a little more. We will now have some extra monthly cashflow...which if I can lean to actually budget it, that will be great!

Let's see today, I'm going to the gym at 9, getting my nails done at 11, Grace has her all-star basketball game at 6, and then we're going to dinner afterwards. Tomorrow looks like a great day too...The girls are going with MIke to the last DePaul basketball game at 1, so I'm FREE from 11 -3 hmm what'll I do?????? Then I'm scrappin tomorrow night

Hi Everybody!

It is a stinky weather day here! First it was snow, then fierce wind and sleet... that was fun... now it is wind and rain, and lots of flooding! The boy loved to splash his feet in everything he could find, so he had to get changed. COLD! Sarah gets out of school at 11:45.

It was a good morning driving around. First was "Pour some sugar on me", then "November Rain" and finally "Nothin' but a Good Time" what a morning!

PJ- Enjoy your time with your mother!!!! It sounds that you don't get too much time with her, nor does your son...I'm sure that with all there is to do in NYC they will make some beautiful memories together!

To all you in the Chicago area... did you see this morning's DING???? 60-80 bucks each way to MCO during May!!!! You lucky ducks. There have been no specials around here!

Exciting about the swim lesson! I can't wait till Sarah can do that. I have to spend lots more time in the pool with her this year though!

DMM-I kind of know why you are exhausted!!!!! You silly!

Today is Dr. Seuss day, we are paying off a ton of bills w/ Sean's bonus (cars have been paid off a while), we are getting ready for the school carnival, and your book fair was the same day as ours. (But I got my nails done on Sunday, not today )

This is a new record for me, i don't think i've been up this early in some time. So my dear,old mother won't fly and because of that she is taking amtrack to penn station nyc. As of right now her train is 7(yes,seven!!) hours behind. Why am i up so early you ask, well dw is at work. So today i am MR.MOM Thats right!!! Yours turly has been given specific instructions on not only to clean the house, but how to clean the house too and in which order. So it's a wrap,i'm cleaning the house today, i think it would be easier to burn it down then clean it.Well i guess i figure out what to do,or your read about the FDNY guy in brooklyn busted on arson charges for burning down his own resdience!!

I think so too! Here's the deal, you do mine, I'll do yours... not clean, I mean burn! hahahaha I was thinking I would like to move rather than go through all the junk here... but you know, that was a moment of insanity, since I will still have to clean/purge to get the heck out of here and sell!!! Hey Jenn!!!! Nice to see you!!!!! Yea I think paying off the cars was a good move. Mike has a 2006 Nissan Murano, and I have a 2002 Honda CRV, so we mostly paid his off! Mine didn't have that much left. All that's left is the home equity loan, which isn't a lot, and we actually kinda need it for a tax deduction...we'd like it paid off in maybe 2-3 years. Right now it serves it purpose well.

I'm so sorry, if your life is like mine! that can't be good...cause I'm always just one "thing" away from losing my mind!!!
