Gracie just woke up.....& she said she's ok with staying home - so I know she's sick.

I was going to go out today & get the girls each a Wii game....but guess not. dh gave each of them a HUGE candy heart....I mean huge....he said they were the biggest ones they had. He gave me a card & told me to buy something I wanted.....SO I already went on ebay & bought a new lens for my camera - I've wanted the 28-300 zoom for a long time...I have the 100-300, the 18-55, and the 28-100...I was just sick of lugging all those lenses to disney! So I just bought it !!!!!:goodvibes I didn't get him anything though....I actually forgot all about it until last night.

I started my soup already too....think i'll get out the breadmaker & make bread too....nice warm breac might taste good to an upset tummy

I am so jealous of your entire life!!!! I don't know how you do it all! Chicken soup, kiddie gym, presents, cards, my goodness, I have always been amazed at all you do... but now, gift baskets at the end of the beds... that takes the cake! You are perfect! How do you do it all??????

I'm exhausted all day long, but right now my kids are pocket sized! haha! so they follow me everywhere! it really isn't that perfect! believe me!! BUT i will say if you've ever seen an episode of Super Nanny, i'm like that. I have that HUGE time schedule. I do our schedule once a week and it's soo easy then! i plan out my whole day right down to when i clean the foyer and such.

The Chicken SOup is the EASIEST!! whenever i grocery shop i ALWAYS wash my fruit and veggies AND cut it up right when i get home before i put it away. Soo Everything is ready for me!!

I defrosted the chicken yesterday and had everythign chopped up! :woohoo: soo easy! i just need to let it simmer and stir every now and then.

That way if i start dinner early or have it all ready to just pop in the oven when the time comes, my late afternoon is free to throw something in for dessert or the fruit is cut up for an easy fruit salad!!

Without a schedule i would be soo behind and flustered!!

We only do kiddie gym/playland/library outings/ museum 2 times a week, so that i don't get overwhelmed with 2 little ones out by myself and so that they have time at home!

AND I AM TOTALLY guilty of wanting computer time and throwing them in front of a Movie!!

Okay, I need a new cell phone. Mine is dying. So DH is going to get me one of the ones that play music too b/c when I run I take music and a phone. So the question is: am I a pink or red or black phone person?

Well last night I was abruptly thrown from pity party mode to

Supermommy barf cleaner upper extroidnaire mode!

Grace woke up sick 4 times last night...thank god that kid alwaysmakes it to the toliet! I love her!

Poor baby! But it is good that she makes it to the potty. My little DD has only been sick twice, but both times it was red pizza and all over everywhere! eEK gross.

Hope your little one is feeling better now!

DMM- yes, I have absolutely no schedule. I really need to take inventory of all the things that need to get done. I am so far behind that it feels like it will never get done! Oh well, if we move, then I guess I get to start all over?

My DH just called to say happy v day, and I told him all about your valentines days.... (yes, jealous).....

so later in the conversation he was telling me that he would like to have the walls skimcoated before we sell the house. I told him that our bedroom needs to be done because he snores so loud that he has shaken the plaster off of the wall above his head! He said, 'yeah, someday a piece will fall down and choke me (him) to death.' My reply was, "well then buddy, get some life insurance"..... he thought that was a nice thing to say on valentines day, in place of... "oh, honey, I hope that never happens, I would be heartbroken".... hahahaha He thought that would be a funny story for you all this morning. Hope I made you chuckle!:lmao:

I have a red one and love it. It is last year's model, so it's not as cool as this years. Give us a link to the ones you are thinking about getting! Would love to see them!

:cloud9:

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8
year-olds, "What does love mean?"

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have
imagined. See what you think :

_____

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her
toenails anymore.

So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got
arthritis too. That's love."

Rebecca- age 8

_____

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You
just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

Billy - age 4 (I love this one)

_____

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne
and they go out and smell each other."

Karl - age 5
_____

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French
fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Chrissy - age 6

___

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."

Terri - age 4

_____

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip
before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."

Danny - age 7

_____

"Love is when you kiss all! the tim e. Then when you get tired of
kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.

My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"

Emily - age 8

_____

This one is my favorite -- Doug

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening
presents and listen."

Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

_____

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who
you hate,"

Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

_____

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it
everyday."

Noelle - age 7

_____

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still
friends even after they know each other so well."

Tommy - age 6

_____

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."

Elaine-age 5

_____

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is
handsomer than Robert Redford."

Chris - age 7

_____

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone
all day."

Mary Ann - age 4

_____

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes
and has to go out and buy new ones."

Lauren - age 4

_____

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars
come out of you." (what an image)

Karen - age 7

_____

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's
gross."

Mark - age 6

_____

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you
mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

Jessica - age 8

_____

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about
a contest he was asked to judge.

The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an
elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's
yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy
said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry"

You are perfect! How do you do it all?????? :confused3

She thinks everyone sounds like Marge Simpons sister.....thats her one downfall!

I agree with you though. I dont so NOTHING Im not forced to do. However....my wife-beating boyfriend, he's pretty awesome! :wizard:

Let's all ask our kids what they think love is... I'll get back to ya' on that one!

Ok. so mine is kind of boring compared to those... but... "love is when you kissy and huggie and squeezie, and live together" - Sarah age 5
