and i totally agree about not trusting the airlines!! they drive me crazy! When i was heading down for our wedding, i didn't want to check anything, but i had like 50 packages! hahaah!

Hi everyone. Happy holidays. I am glad to see everyone is doing well. Thank you (to the 2 of you) who asked about me. Yes, Terry got to come home. His parents came in the same day. Then they (in-laws) left on the
24th and my brother and his wife came in. It has been an insanely busy couple of weeks. Terry's official send off is the 3rd. Ryan and I will be up in Tucson that day to say goodbye. There is also a send off party the day before.
Anyway, I need to go do some laundry. My lazy boys are still sleeping. Have a good day everyone.

Also, I think everyone has received their swap gifts. So, if you still haven't please let me know.
Has anyone else gotten their wine swap? Mine was maileout over a week ago.

DMM, I just finished vacuuming! I did have a question for you. I remember you said you kept adding to a disney gift card before your trip. Did you just get the card at the disney store? And where were you able to use it in the world? Did you use if strictly for shopping? I was thinking of getting one, but I didn't want to put a bunch of money on it and then not be able to use it there.

No wine swap yet, but i'm trying to figure out where else it could be since i am also missing a package from TImmy and she is missing one from me grrr...

Worst chore? I have a dishwasher, so I don't mind all that. Vacuuming is okay. I don't detest it. Laundry is okay. I do it everyday. I can't do it only once a week. I can see how that could make you hate it. Cooking is okay. I enjoy that. So, I guess cleaning the bathrooms is my most disliked.

JULSMOM, we LOVe the DIsney Gift Card!!

Yes, you can buy it at the Disney Store and you can add as little as 5$ to it at first and as much as 1000$ total!

IT is accepted at MOST restaurants and at the World of Disney!!

We were also able to use it at the F&W festival!

HOWEVER it is NOT for use at the resort Front Desk yet! soo no room/tix/charging that kind of thing

BUT you CAN use it at the resort gift shops.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! it's a great way to save!!

ahh we have a dishwasher too, but i just dont like the idea of dirty dishes! haha! i'm wierd like that! i think that is why i delegate dishes and bathrooms to DH most of the time!!

I don't mind laundry or making the beds...FLoor cleaning is a pain....ooo i don't like to dust that's for sure! i think that's why i'm thinking of heading in the minimalist direction and only having the bare necessities in my house! hahahaha!!

With the dishwasher, I add to it all day and run it after dinner. Then in the morning I empty it and start all over. Unless we have a big breakfast or lunch, then I will run it early.

Then another girl asked me to pick up an address book....

Nothing huge a big - but Im only taking one rolly suitcase with me. Im not messing around. Im TRYING to stay -basic-!!!

I come from the town of GROSS hardwater, so DH and i have been trying EVERYTHING to get the dishwasher to actually CLEAN the dishes!! haha!! so i think that also contributes to the wash dislike!



Anyone else have hardwater??

DMM, you could get one of those water softeners. I would say ours is medium. But our dishwasher cleans really well.

I hate doing dishes - even WITH the dishwasher. Wet food-stuff gives me the heebie-jeebies. BLECH! So Jim does it...

I hate cleaning the bathroom - germie wet yuckies give me heebie-jeebies, too! BLECH!!! So, Jim also does that....

I dont mind Laundry.... I dont like putting it away. It generally gets stacked on an empty dresser.... Mine does, at least.

Id be lying if I said I do housework. I dont. Jim does. My ex-husband did too - strange how you meet someone who will fufill your needs (i.e. housecleaning!)
