Good morning.
DD got sick in the night, so no school today. I wonder if she will be well enough for a bday party tomorrow. I won't be heartbroken if not. Actually, tomorrow morning, playhouse disney is showing their christmas episodes of MM Clubhouse, Handy manny, all of them. I am excited to see it too. I love christmas episodes.
So I will be here all morning, I hope I am not talking to myself. I figure that Chris will pop up soon.

ok Tia was my SS - & you are freaking me out...have you seen my living room????? I'l have to post a pic...my area rug, and my couch ARE THE SAME EXACT COLOR AS THE THROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I have 2 blue side chairs..& I just draped it over one of them...it looks FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& I always LOVEEEEE coffee!!!!!

! I DID however get my eyebrows waxed AND on a spur of the moment I got my hair chopped off. I LOVE it though. I bought myself a pair of Born shoes today (reg $90) for $30!!! And I bought 2 pairs of pants and a shirt for $20 on sale at another store. Did I buy for everyone else on my list? Nope, I took a day off from being generous! But seriously, how can you pass up deals like that? I know I can't!\:

I need to go buy some shoes today actually....dh's xmas party is Saturday...& I"m tired of looking like the conservative married 40 yr old in black pumps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a black long skirt and a red tank with a black jacket.....any advice? could I get away with black boots????? My dh would faint I think! hahahah I'm a keds & lands end shoe kinda girl!!! hahaha boring boring boring

Wal-Mart (yes, WAL MART!) has these knee high, stretchy-suede-ish wedge black boots. They zip up the side and would be PERFECT for your outfit. Other places have this style too, but the reason I mention Wal-Mart is - theyre $20!! And theyre WAY cute.

I have no idea what to do with the kids today! haha! yesterday we made the centerpieces for the holidays. (Toilet Paper Tube Christmas trees) I was thinking the library, but i'm not sure if i want to go out with Autumn alone

Some ideas...make gift toppers out of salt dough, make faux stain glass ornaments with a pattern, plastic wrap, and permanent markers...(uh, maybe not with the little ones...they can just color the patters!), make a handprint wreath out of construction paper and a little ribbon, make some gift wrap with stamps, paint and brown paper (you can make potato stamps),or make a photo ornament with popsicle sticks, make christmas tree treats (like rice crispie treats, but with cheerios).

DID i tell you guys my big news??/ MY little guy (Who turns 1 2 wks from today) is taking STEPS!!! YUP! he takes 3 at most, then freaks out and throws himself to the ground!

I had to read this 3x...he's only 12 weeks old and walking!!! My DD took her steps 7 days before she turned 1.

I'm actually in a great mood and i will explain,but warning the story might be a little hard to read.



The night before last we pulled up to a job,report of someone shot.We go into the store and yes,its legit someone has been shot to the head.There is blood, huge amounts all over.I was amazed to find the victim still alive with a entrance gun shot to the right ear with a exit wound just below left ear.He is able to talk but is in shock and has lost too much blood as my crew tries to put an I.v. in. I realize that the Carordtid artery has been ripped,this is a huge artery that runs in the neck to the brain.If torn or opened you can bleed to death in minutes.I start to know that if i don't get this artery closed this guy is gonna die but there is too much blood and i can't find it.By this point i am covered in blood,but wait i stick my 2 fingers in the hole in his neck and grab something and all bleeding slows down and just about stops.I know that i am know stuck with my fingers in him,cause if i move i might lose the artery and he will start bleeding all over again.So I stayed with him all the way to the operation room in the hospital, i checked last night and he lived! He is a preist that was just a innocent bystander that was shot in a gun battle.I am it sounds odd,but it is always a great feeling knwing you help someone.

This made me cry!!! You are so awesome for doing that!

Okay, last post...then real work...or maybe a lunch break? I worked like 12 hours on Wednesday so I have some time to blow.

Wow, I’m so happy I took the time away from work to read this board. It’s really put a smile on my face and put me in the Christmas spirit reading about everyone’s party’s and stuff.

Oh, this is really late…I’m HERE!!!

I need to make an effort to post on this board more often. I was posting on another one since here would go half a day with no posts…but now there’s action! I just read back 15 pages!

Chris—I was in the WASABI thing (purposely calling it that now) and I was still confused. I don’t think I was much help to me team since I was an alternate and got placed in it mid-way through the first challenge. They basically planned out a big party, and posted pics on a website and such.


I'm regretting not being part of the SS. Now that I feel Christmasy, I want to do some gift giving! My work is doing an ornament swap this year, so I can't even buy them gifts.

I wish I would have saved my gift. At the POTC gift shop (by the way, I liked the ride with the new additions-always my fave), I bought my SS a Capt. Jack travel mug (very sexy pic) and a pin of the jail scene with the inmates and the dog, except the inmates were Mickey, Goofy, etc.. It was very cute. I went a little over, but it was really nice stuff from disneyworld. I bet she got it and didn't even know why she got something or where it came from. She probably thinks someone she knows sent it or a secret admirer. I checked her profile and she last checked in here on Nov. 17th and last checking in at all on disboards on Dec. 6th. I don't even know who is mailing to me, but Tia told me it is someone who doesn't chat with us anymore but is still on the boards. How could you get a PM and not respond? You know when you get a PM.

You know, funny story, I bought donald rubber duckies at POTC and HM. I put them in DD's bathtub. She loves those rides. Well, right after that she started having bad dreams about those rides. She is one of those kids who honestly never ever has bad dreams. Yesterday (3 weeks later) she told me that the donald duckies are the cause. I asked her if she was scared of those rides or even of the ducks, and she said no, but they just give her bad dreams. Huh. So I moved them to my bathroom. I love the HM one. It is so cute. And she is fine with it. The dreams were only a few nights.

And your gift sounds seriously lovely - I mean just awesome! And if if were *me* who got it, I would have at LEAST been guilted into now buying you something. But that just me....
