Went and saw flushed away tonight with dw and ds. Cute funny movie, but it seemed short and felt like it ended real quick. Anyway i won't spoil it, but they make a disney/pixar joke in the first 10 minutes of this movie. So hows everyone doing?? Hey ants how you feeling????

Finally got out of the house today to see my orimary doc. Still look like a bruised but it's getting there. Done with the cold compress now doinfg the warm compress!

ants that car did exactly what is was supposed to do, cars these days now crumple on impact, so the car takes most of the impact not your body.I'm no auto guy, but i would say that car is totaled, hope you are feeling better and just think you can go to disney with the insurance money. After 8 + years responding to accidents i have to say that that looks like a very nasty wreck you got into. Stay well and lots of rest and dissing

DH is sick again. Is it wrong of me to get mad at him when he's sick? I feel like he gets sick so I have to do everything, which I'm sick! He complains I don't give him sympathy. Its cause he's always sick and exaggerates. So now we can't go out to see The Santa Clause 3 or go to the family hayride tonight at church. Argh.

You think he gets sick on purpose? Or is he just getting burned out and needs a break so he feels "under the weather"? Men are so darned hard to read at times. My husband never gets sick thankfully. In fact there are times I iwsh he would fake the funk so he would call off. I think the entire time I have known him he has taken like 1 sick day by choice. If he was on quarters, well there was nothing he could do about that.
I am sorry the sickness prevented you from going out. I hate it when that happens. I guess, and please do not take this the wrong way or like I am being mean because that is NOT how it is intended, but I guess my advice is to be thankful you have your hubby there everyday. I would love for mine to be home, healthy, sick, or whatever. Enjoy the moments you have and communicate communicate communicate with one another. Tell him mental health days are totally fine, but that maybe he could give you the day off once in awhile too? I dunno. Anyway, again not intended as a harsh post, just trying to have a conversation as though I was talking with one of my girlfriends here. Hope it works out for you hun!

Holy crap-ola Timmy! That looked bad bad bad. Makes me even MORE thankful that you are ok because that accident could have caused a lot of damage.

Wow, Ants! That car is so crunched!!!

Tia--No, he's not actually faking. He actually had a 103 fever. I think its just the whole multi-tasking thing that bothers me. I'll spend 30 minutes cooking lunch, moving a load of laundry, feeding Alex, and unloading/loading the dishwasher...(all at the same time) but for him, each of those tasks takes an hour (at different times). That's why I get so frustrated with him not letting me have any down time. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to accept I'm superwoman.

We did it! We took the plunge and splurged on the DCL cruise that leaves December 30th! AHHHHH!!

Nope, I have not bought my SS gift. I am waiting until I go to Tucson. Better shopping there. I have no clue what to get, I am sure I will know when I see it though!

Michelle, your Spice Girls thing is cracking me up. I was a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of New Kids on the Block. Now for my secret shame, lately I have been listening to them nonstop. I have pulled out old videos, my posters and scrapbooks, etc. Now Ryan loves them. I told Terry and he asked if I felt good about corrupting our son! I told him as a matter of a fact I did! I can't help myself. 20 years is a long time to be a fan, I can't just throw it all away right?

Everyone else - Happy Monday. Man, I dont wanna work.

You know what I thought of this weekend - and dont ask me why, it's something that just *popped* into my head. Death.... I mean, no matter what we do, we're all going to die. It's inevitable. You can pro-long it, but it will still happen.

It's kinda eerie. I just never thought of it like THAT. No matter what - you die. I didnt like coming to that realization.

Speaking of which - since you cant take it with you, I went a little wacky this weekend... I bought these boots, for $140! ! ! I dont know what happened to me - budget went out the window and I plunked down the cash. I figured they'd be awfully cute and warm and cozy walking around WDW in January.

Then - I bought this purse:

I figure it matches the boots....

All the while - shaking my head in confusion. What was I thinking?!?!?
