Hi all - Checking in for the day. I am so ready for this week to be over

I am starting to feel a little better but now Austin has an ear infection and strep throat Poor little guy. We just need to curl up in bed and sleep it off. But Ella doesn't want to let that happen - crazy 2 year old !!

I leave on Tuesday for LA with the little sister in law. We will be gone from 8/24-8/29. She wants to do "cool" stuff in LA so when I am not feeling like crud I have been reading up on LA I just hope all goes well. Hopefully we will have no DRAMA.

HI, all! Busy at work, just checking in briefly from bed before going night-night. I'm still not caught up on all the threads from being gone on vacation...ack!

I love tea. I got some Twinings from Epcot WS in the UK pavillion this year...it really is nice high quality stuff. I like the "red berries" (or something like that), it's light but refreshing, and good iced or hot. We went to one of the seminars given by Stephen Twining himself...pretty neat, even DH was impressed, and he doesn't like tea (or coffee, for that matter).

Ok, time to sleep!

Did I tell you all DH turned down the job? He did it over email. The guy wrote back and everytime I read his letter I cry. He seemed so sweet. He even quoted the Bible! But he said he understands Casey's decision even though he doesn't agree with it. He also listed about 10 points as advice for Casey in the future.

Since it's quiet - lemme ask your guy's opinion of the "new improved" kids menu....

You know - I have no idea why this even bothers me - I have "adults" in Disney's eyes.

But man - I cant get over the fact theyre pushing THIS stuff as a table service entree? Yuck.... Looks seriously unappealing, as a COUNTER service option, let alone... a table.

My kids would have NOT gone for it. I dont think - in fact I KNOW, we wouldnt have done tableservice had these been the options when they were munchkins.

The only good *I* can see from a family having to endure this menu for 10 days or so, is those cute Mickey plates. Apparently they're ceramic. Oooo! After 10 days, and 2 kids, you could come home with 20 of those babies.

morning! i'm actually upset about the menu upset it wasn't around when we were there DD loves all this kind of stuff and it is EXACTLY what she eats at home. i'm all for it!! so it works for us

But for people on the restaurant boards BOY!

i don't get all the hoopla! the entire year i was a member here, people would COMPLAIN about how unhealthy the kids menues were and BAM Disney changes it and people are still complaining about it it's funny!!
