Thanks again for the Pepsi! By careful use of the ice bucket, and the fact that we just didn't spend a whole lot of time at our various resorts, the 12 cans managed to last until we checked out of Port Orleans French Quarter on our last scheduled day of vacation!

I'm planning to start posting pictures tonight, and maybe even the start of my "Trip Synopsis". I had a horrible migraine all day today (it just vanished a few minutes ago for no reason that I can figure out ), so I just couldn't cope with it, and I still have only part of the pictures with me. I want to get all of this posted before I have to start packing to move, because once I get distracted, I'll never remember what it was that I did (or ate).

Patsfan7--I agree about the beds. The whole place was really nice. I thought the beds were OK at POP, I didn't like the beds (or the pillows!) at the Dolphin at all, and French Quarter was pretty decent, too. I know the Dolphin beds are supposed to be great, but mine is nicer--I have one of those egg crate pads underneath a memory foam pad, on top of an extremely firm mattress. I was kind of glad to get back to it last night!

Ok--I am so sad that I did not get to meet more of you. I did meet ANTSs2001.

I went to the pool and the laundry meet and either I'm such a dork I could not find anyone or you weren't there. I think the former is probably right .

I loved my trip. My kids loved it and if I thought I could write something interesting i would do a trip report.

Hope to go back next year...

You all are going this January or next? I just wish I could somehow justify in my mind spending $600 on plane tickets for a few days. I guess maybe I will wait and stay like 10 days or so next time. We will see what happens. Terry's pay changes again when he goes overseas so I should probably wait and see how that pans out!

Michelle-- We dinged at $49 each way. My mom did $39 each way. (from Philly).

Has Camafrogs checked in yet? I rode the bus with her and all her kids. She was kind enough to buy us a box of Puffs Plus when DD and DH arrived with a bad cold and didn't want to blow their noses on cardboard all week.

Wish we could join you in Las Vegas in December. Can you imagine how much fun we could have? All those early morning bus trips??

Just for general information, that was the ONLY morning that we were out of our room before 9 AM!

AND just for specific-to-Beth's-plaint information, 7:30 AM was HER idea!!! As for early morning bus trips in Las Vegas? Please! Early morning is when one is just getting to sleep there.... not that I'd ever tell. After all, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Unless you're me and you do something REALLY stupid and come home and post it on message boards...

On Travelzoo's top 20 this week they quoted $83 r/t from Chicago to MCO. I don't know what the dates were.... but may be worth checking out?

I just checked http://airfare.travelzoo.com/north-american-airfare/262605 and they now say that it is $20 more... try your dates!
