So, what to do in LA, well you could go SHOPPING! Walk down Melrose and drool over everything that is completely out of your price range. If you have time you could take a boat over to Catalina Island and spend the day there. It is a GREAT place to visit. Lots of good shopping and food and sight seeing type stuff. There are always good shows happening. Not sure how in to theatre either of you are, but that might be worth looking into. Of course there is always DL. Which I Not sure what you are looking for. You could even do mega cheesy tourist stuff and go on a tour of stars' homes!
Let us know what you decide!

BTW, your daughters dress was sooooo cute. Both of your kids were adorable.

And those "BARE ALL" signs? LOL! I particularly liked the

"GREAT FOOD. ADULT TOYS" - I mean, what more do you look for in a place to stop. Not only is their food great, they have adult toys too?!?!? Now THAT is a rest stop.

I take that back, I did see one person who I believe to be Beth and her husband (he had a brace or boot on his foot). DH came back to watch the kids so I could say "hey" to you and you were gone.

That's what Im doing too...a Minnie trip!

When we were there last week, it was just so HOT. And Im a Hot Chic to begin with....<ahem> And I was so uncomfortable.

So I mentioned to the family - how about next trip in January of 2008. But how on EARTH would we know what January was like until it was 'checked out' - THAT is my justification for Danny and I to go. I need to check it out.

I remember about eight years ago, driving from Texas to Florida with my parents and seeing all those kinds of signs!

Ill admit it. Im a huge freaking dork. I cried. I didnt cry until I was home. I guess it sunk it then, but I cried.

We are 2 doors down from this room. We checked in our room at around 4ish on the 29th unload our bags and ran out to leave here a note and a mickey head stating we are next door... that nite after we came back from MNSSHP the decoration were down. My dsis said I must have scaredf them off

Cathryn - I didn't cry. I just moped a lot. And didn't go to work 3 days last week because I was depressed and sick.

But I'm ok now. Getting ready for my one night at MNSSHP on either the 26th or the 27th.

I didn't cry, but I wanted to. I was depressed for a while. I really want to cry knowing I won't be back until 2008!!! Well, unless they offer FDP again or something really good!!!

I was starting to get depressed after meeting everybody at the Pool. Went back to our room and started packing,woke up at 9:00AM took a quick shower and we're ready to check out. At this point I was hyperventalating already. I always foot sweep under the beds before and after the trip which in this case I was not able to do due to the fiasco that happend on check in date ( never again even how tired and frustrated I am I will do the *check under the bed* act), and LOOK what we found under the bed ????

Thank God I always carery gloves and never walk barefoot in any hotel room and was smart enough to bring our own sheets

. What buggles my mind was the mousekeeper had fixed everything on that side where the ironing board is, I guess they don't vacuum everyday? And it's not like we don't leave any tip everyday. This is my 1st time though to find something like this in any Disney property. So to answer the question if I cried, NO, I end up at the FD and the CM member just look at me and said "oh that is disconcerning". I nicely informed the Cm... No am not here for a DISCOUNT I just need to talk to a manager. I explained to the manager how my concern. Honestly I would have not gone to see the manager if both pockets were new but one is open, maybe it just fell off their pockets or their bag but.... So I asked the manager. Can you imagine any scenario upon opening a bag of CONDOM ??? And all he can do was turn red. He did take my email address and welll see it from there.
