For the Meets , i will have ALIEN GREEN mickey heads, a hole punch
and some yarn if you wish to make a little mickey head necklace
with your DIS name on it so we can all get to know who is who
a bit quicker!!!

Morning, everyone! I'm at work, just got out of a meeting with da boss man, and I have to say it felt REALLY GOOD to say that Friday would be my last day before vacation! Then, just as I was typing this, one of our office grad students stuck her head in my office and asked me if I was leaving next Saturday, and I said, nope, this Saturday, 5 days from now (and added if she needed me to help her with her project, to be sure to let me know ASAP!). WHEEEE!! It's really happening -- we're really leaving this week!


And, the best part is my Friday afternoon meeting was rescheduled to Thursday, so I can probably sneak out of here around 1:30 or 2ish instead of being here till 5pm!

Now, if I could get get all packed up, finish my presentations, organize my trading pins, and finalize my touring plans, I'd be ready to go!

Okay, it may not be LIME green, but it'll be as close as I can get - I learned how to make a swan! Guaranteed it won't be white (may not be green at all - may even be a pink & orange print, if I don't like the way it looks as a regular-size towel) but there WILL be a swan on my window sill! Where? Not the SLIGHTEST idea - but ideally on the fourth floor...

OK, I'm ready to go now...I just finished laminating my Mickey Heads! My boss has been out all morning, so I finished most of my projects and then decided to take care of the Mickeys!

Well, DS FINALLY looked at the DIS Design Gallery and picked out t-shirts he wants made. I've only been trying to get him to do this for months now! Luckily, they sent him home from work early today and he's off tomorrow, too. We leave early Wednesday! So, today's plan is:

1. Buy t-shirts.
2. Buy transfer paper.
3. Wash and dry t-shirts.
4. Print out transfers.
5. Iron on transfers.
6. Get rest of laundry done.
7. Figure out what other clothes I'm taking.
8. PACK!!!!!!
9. Make list for DH of what mail to put out when.
10. Write reminder note for DH so he remembers to take DD to the dentist
Thursday night.
11. Pick up dogs' meds from pharmacy.
12. Whatever else I've forgotten that I'll remember later. Hopefully before we
leave!!

I would really like to get this done today, but I'm sure it won't happen. No matter how far in advance I plan a trip, I always end up staying up most of the night before finishing up last minute stuff!

My sister gets to WDW and POP early this afternoon. She's promised to call and let me know what building they got. Our reservations are tied together so guess I'll be close to her. We requested the 70's building when we first made the reservation and didn't call or fax an update this week. POP Luck (HEHEHEHE) is what we'll take!!!I did call Disney today about another reservation and they said all values and some mods are no vacancy this week-end. I'll get ya an update when she calls me. Is anyone worried about the crowds? Everyone this past week have talked about just walking on all the rides and don't think that will be the case next week. We have multiple days in each park and so guess we'll see it all. Later.....

My former secretary is back. They had a terrible time at WDW--couldn't get in anywhere to eat, couldn't park-hop, discovered that the monorail doesn't go to Universal, so they moved to a condo and spent the rest of the time hanging around the pool. She did say it was very hot and humid! She told me I was crazy for going there so often--it was such a waste of time and money! Good, that's one less group of people who will ever interfere with my plans!

I guess it makes me sad when someone pays a butt load of money for a vacation and then doesn't do any planning and they end up having a crappy time. Why would anyone do that no matter where they plan to vacation?
Oh well, like you said, one less group there is always better for us!

Anyway when I opened the iron on transfer paper it said not to wash the shirts AT ALL! So you may want to wait until after you have finished them. Just a thought!

I think, if I stop eating now, I should have enough room for all the food I'm going to eat next week!

My former secretary is the type who knows everything about everything. I tried to tell her some things, but she told me I wasn't a travel agent, and therefore I didn't have a CLUE how things work at WDW (even though I've been there more than 50 times over more than 20 years ). She says she's never going there again, it was awful!

Oh well, like I said, that's one less group of people taking up space at WDW!
