Did I ever tell you guys my nightmare story? I think we talk more NOW then we did pre-trip.... so I didnt say much when I got back.

I screwed up BIG TIME on the way down. Adrenaline was pumping and Jim and I decided in like Valdosta (where we were to stop) to keep on truckin'. So we got to WDW at like 2am day of check-in...and we wanted to just pay for another night, and they were so MEAN, and refused us.

Long story short - we tried to wait, went to IHOP, were too tired and said forget it, we'll stay somewhere else for a night. We went to the Grosvernor, checked in to a (no kidding) bug infested room...by this time it's like 5 am. Im exhausted and started to cry - went down for my money back, in pajama's no bra...which if youve got 'girls', you know I had to me a MESS at that point to go bra-less into the lobby, in jammies.

Went across the street to Hotel Royal Plaza - to a WONDERFUL room....cant say enough nice things about this place:

Ive never gotten a Vanilla Shake (mental note!!!)

And I melted too.... we're Chicago'n's!! It's too HOT there!!! Thats why I cant wait for this January trip! Everyone's idea of "cold" will be my idea of "just right!"

As you can see - the Hoop De Doo was a HUGE HUGE hit with my kids. They couldnt have enjoyed it more!

Jim on the other hand, really did! So, thats at least one plus! We sat right behind Mr Banjo and Mr Piano:
