Tia - Well I had insured the box for $100....& usps says it was delivered...so someone is enjoying your wine! dang it! Luckily the liquor store here just started carrying it...so I'm going to go buy another bottle today & ship it UPS. Then I'll deal with the po & getting my money back. I hope you still get it in time for NYEve. I bet your postman is loopy from drinking the bottle!!!

So, a few months before my Mom died, I came across the "near Death experience" ( http://www.near-death.com/index.html ) website, and was so enthralled with it. Like it felt so GOOD reading all these stories, and things made sense, etc etc.

And I grew up with out a whole lot of religion, in fact none. So, now I feel having found that website was almost a preperation for such...dont you think?

Anyways - since I know you guys better, I wanted to share with you a really good read: http://www.near-death.com/book/nothing_better_than_death.html

It's an e-book - you can just fav-place it and read it when you have time if you want, but it's so moving, or inspirational or SOMETHING ....

Im reading it today, since we're slow at work and it's just making me tear up.... not sad, but GOOD tear up.

I'm totally worried about DH's present. I ordered it on the 13th, and I thought it had plenty of time to get here. Realizing its not here yet, I looked up the shipping info....this is what it says.

1. Arrived at Smart Center: 12/14/06 10:55 PM
2. Processed and verified: 12/15/06 03:57 AM
3. Sent via SmartMail's Delivery method: 12/15/06 07:45 AM
* Network destination center: DHL Global Mail of New York City
4. Delivery network received the package: 12/16/06 01:41 AM

Manifested? What is that supposed to mean? I'm on hold with DHL now. All I know is the package is not here. :-(

I hope your package gets here. I am still expecting 5 packages with Christmas gifts in them and we have had no mail service for 2 days now with this blizzard. Tomorrow is the last day for thm to come since DHL and UPS don' deliver on Saturdays and I am losing hope. There in no way for them to even make it to our neighborhood. BooHoo !! So a few presents will just need to be IOU's !

Okay, well, I don't really expect anyone checking in today. But if you are out there, come say hi! DH works today. He was off wed. and thurs.. We had family pictures and I took DD to the doctor. She has an ear infection (never had them as a baby) and a sinus infection. I am so glad they gave us antibiotics so hopefully she can feel better by christmas. So I am just hanging out today, here.

Godd morning... I just got back from my 1st dr appointment for the day... the Foot doctor and so far if I keep doing what am doing come April am good to go at The Promise Land .... Was not able to try anything last nite since I was so tired from work... another appointment at 10AM with physical therapy then off to the mall to pick some stuff at Things To Remember store... hmmm then maybe go to Costco get some prime rib and fire the grill tonite... can you believe this am thinking BBQ on Xmas weekend... it is sad in my case.. I love cold and snow but I have not seen it in our area yet Then maybe go watch a movie or something

What ??? No DIS over the weekend the only weekend that I am off.. mama mia!!!

OK no mail yet with the wine swap.... hmmm speaking of mail.... I have to stop by at the PO to drop their gift cards for starbucks Ok that's my report for now...

I am excited - kinda nervous excited though.

I love the TTA... love it ! ! ! Its so simple, yet it's so WDW to me. Love being up there.
I love the times we've went up there when it starts pouring, and then we're up there, perfectly dry and we look down and see people huddled under whatever they can huddle under - trying to keep dry.
