BTW I was at the mall this morning and was at Macy's and asked for the Juicy C sample ! Well guess what! This lady almost pop her eyebals out and told me "dont be cheap by the dang perfume" man o man!!! Cat.... I'll juz be looking for sales for you... but no more samples you can loose your religion with this cologne.. and I just wanted to know what smell like geesshhh...

I told you - theyre downright MEAN when it comes to thast stuff. It must be liquid gold or something - I have no freaking idea!!!

I *thought* I wore Medium's until I wore Mediums to WDW, and ended up with pinky toe blisters. I should'a took pictures - they were so bad!!! Then (I think I told you guys) I wore flip flops to let my pinkies dry out,..... then I got blisters on the balls of my feet.

I WANTED TO FREAKING DIE!!!!

And I was sick too - did I tell you guys that? Sicker than a dog - hacking and coughing and sniffling. I wasnt a happy person. In fact I was quite the opposite.

So thhhhhheeeeennnnn.... I went to Universal and in CityWalk there was some store and they sold Crocs so I bought the white ones - in a large and things started going better.....after I put about 12 layers of moleskin, a corn pad and a few band-aids over top the ball-of-my-feet-blisters. They sell corn pads in the POP gift shop... just an FYI.

So, I think Im a large - unless I want my pinkie-toes amputated. I was considering getting a pink disney pair before my January trip - but it will be after Christmas, you know?

What size are you in? I think theyre kinda goofy that they go from 8-9 for medium then 10-11 for large.... I'd like a 9-10, kwim? Then I wouldnt have had to go through the above anguish!!!

oK! I was reading past post about me being the SS that doesnt post on here! So I am soooooo sorry to upset you that I don't post on here very much but I have to work alot! Sorry about everything and I will not not post on here if thats what you wanT!

I don't think you were the one I was talking about! I am mainly pissed at the person that I mailed to. You are okay . If your person hasn't been on here in forever, then ask Tia if you should mail, or just SS yourself. Tia maybe could check if that person had even sent something to HER SS also. If she hasn't mailed, then we could put her on the SS deadbeat list.

Plus, if you mail now, it will not make it by christmas.

Also, did you receive anything?

I recieved mine today! I will mail in the morning if it doesnt make it by Christmas atleast they will get an after Christmas present! Hopefully it will though! I am got a PM from Tia just a minute ago she said she heard from yours too and they are mailing late so i am all go to send to the one I had! Sorry about everything!

I have received THREE Pm's today from different SS peeps (to steal Timmy's word). Many of out orginal list are getting it together but personal stuff has come up. It happens to all of us, it is just unfortunate it had to happen now. But when is it ever a good time. My suggestion is this: we all take a deep breath and realize that nobody signed up for SS with the intention of dropping out or not sending. I am sure there are perfectly good explainations for why it has taken so long. I am just as bad, as I have not sent my wine swap yet. Although today was the deadline so if I send tomorrow, it isn't that bad right?
Anyway, everyone seems to eb trying their best. I have not heard from 1 person on the original list. I think 1 out of 10 isn't so bad.
Anyway, I can't say sorry enough for all of the confusion. But then again, I think we did pretty darn good for an internet swap. Just my opinion though. Next year I am happy to turn the reigns over to someone else if they would like to organize it.
Anyway, that's all I have to say about that. (In my best Forrest voice)

Whatever Tia says, goes. But I like the whole idea of thinking of a specific person, their likes & dislikes, etc. while picking out just the right stuff. I feel like I would be getting someone else's gift, compared to something picked out with me in mind. It is a mercy gift. I also am partial to things being not after christmas. It kind of takes the fun out of it.

I don't want all this to sound wrong, but I feel safe expressing my feelings.

I've taken all my test and done all my interviews for this FDNY class i'm trying to get into it's just a waiting game now.The class does not start until march 18,i was thinking that maybe if i get in we go to wdw in feb for a short trip to celebrate,but i'm not sure.

Anyway i got to thinking and remebered that at 14 on my birthday my mom took me to wdw.So 15 years ago today i was walking down main street!!!!!!! I also was born on the day walt disney died dec 15.

The Christmas party last night was fun....I ended up being the dd....NO FUN! BUt my dh started drinking capt morgan & diet coke.....& was seriously sloshy before dinner! So I opted to be nice and let him roll! Tonight we have another party & IT'S MY TURN!

I think we've done pretty good with the SS thing.....there were how many people that originally signed up? and to have only a few late and only one mia....I try to look at it this way....when I send my gift, I'm truly wanting to brighten the other person's day....if I get gyped out of my gift...I know it wasn't on purpose and I know that stuff happens. I used to do a lot of swapping on a scrapbook board, and (like you julsmom) after getting ditched a bunch of times, just stopped swapping.

Gotta finish up some stocking stuff today, buy those boots and that's it! Next week I have to finish wrapping and then it's on to cookies!!!
