Well good Thursday morning POPpers! i swear this has been THE longest week in the Universe!! i just can't seem to get to Friday! My lil peanut was able to make it the WHOLE day without getting sick! so we're slowly stacking up the days!! BUTTTT giving medicine to her it like pulling teeth! i'm actually procrastinating this morning!!!

DMM: I think your timing is just off! I have to sub again today and tomorrow so I am not around much. I am afraid this thread is dwindling slowly.

I cannot believe next week is christmas week. Today and tomorrow will fly by and then DD just has school mon. and tues. and they are both early out days. We need to do our "meet" with DH's grandma on Wednesday and then Thursday is family pics. It is kind of sad b/c DD won't really get any good time to unwind and start enjoying christmas break.

Just a thought....If the items go all to one place we all are really paying to ship it twice. With regard to my package, it was four pounds and cost over nine dollars to ship. That could get expensive to ship to one address and include $ to ship out again to the recipient. Just something to add to the equation as we kick around ideas....

Yeah this is true. I will be the first to admit that my SS gift went out late, i just got overwhelmed with DD, and the fam being sick. That's the other reason i UPSd it.

soo i was a baaaad SS! Also my person rarely posts, so i doubt i will ever find out if she gets it! i will have to ask DH to get me the tracking number so i can be sure.

So it sounds like most of the SS' that we all sent to were people who rarely post. Is that the case? I hadn't realized that we lost that many posters.

Yeah i just post at random times and they are really off 'peak' times!

About SS, maybe we should just keep this time in mind and make another attempt??? I guess the Wine Swap will also tell, how we can get those out! but i think there are only like 4 of us doing it! haha!!

I have no idea what to do with the kids today! haha! yesterday we made the centerpieces for the holidays. (Toilet Paper Tube Christmas trees) I was thinking the library, but i'm not sure if i want to go out with Autumn alone

Well my SS is someone who posts here often My stuff went out on Saturday... priority usps....I'm pretty sure it's there by now..

My wine swap buddy should have gotten theirs as well - I have to say...the one bottle is my favorite stuff in all the world & yes I mean THE world. AFter we all get our stuff...I do have a cute story to share about it

We stay home xmas eve, go to my cousins on xmas day (Romeoville)

As for the trip....I was actually thinking of arriving AFTER Jan 1 - taking the girls out of school for a few days & doing like Jan 1-6th...not long enough but still thinking

Chris, Those are great days to go! I believe January 2nd is VALUE season, so you just have to book 2 ressies in order to get the better rate.

oooo I WAS soooo gonna buy my wine swap buddy a bottle of Rosa Regale which is my FAVE stuff in the WORLD!!! buttttt the 2 Binny's Liquor places that i know of didn't have it I've bought it there before!!! I was bummin! but the stuff i sent, is just DELISH!

DID i tell you guys my big news??/ MY little guy (Who turns 1 2 wks from today) is taking STEPS!!! YUP! he takes 3 at most, then freaks out and throws himself to the ground! it's sooo funny, but sooo exciting! i LOVE seeing him get up and go! he gets this look in his eye!! Autumn gets excited too, but i think she does, cause she realizes that she will soon have a REAL buddy to play and run around with!!
