It was suppose to end September 1st but they continued it. According to OrlandoParkNews they extended it until Oct 31st. But without word straight from Disney, who knows.

If it is still there when you go, it's $10 for the bucket then 1.50 per refill for the remainder of that day

The rest of us were trying to figure out how they would control such a thing and not just have people "pixie dusting" others with their popcorn bucket or bringing it back with them 6 mos later for another trip.

We hadnt been to WDW in well over a year, but I brought along a popcorn bucket I had from 2014 or 2015 when we went this weekend. We usually bring an old bucket to make sharing popcorn easier (and it can hold other stuff). They filled it for $1.50. I knew nothing about it--just saw the sign and asked if the bucket I had would be eligible. I guess we got lucky!

Yup--- last week, we filled the vampire Mickey bucket for $1.50 on refill the next day! Although the worker did say WDW seems to change that policy on a daily basis

If it's anything like the refillable cups at Busch Gardens/Sea World then each one would have a different UPC code. When scanned it would prompt if it was purchased that day or not.

But if Disney is selling multiple types of buckets for the promotion and ppl reporting that they've used buckets from previous years...then Disney simply doesn't care and anyone can just start off with 1.50 refills with a bucket instead of paying the $10 first

can anyone possibly share any pics of the latest popcorn buckets available these days? Not so much the halloween ones, just regular popcorn buckets. If possible, thanks very much! I always like to get the newest buckets so not sure I'd take up room in my luggage bringing down a bucket. But, getting refills for $1.50 while there with a new bucket would be awesome! Of course, they'd have to continue doing the refills thru Nov then, lol! I'm hoping!

It's not like that at Disney...you can basically use any bucket at any stand that shows the refill for $1.50...no questions asked.
