Does POP supply hairdryers, shampoo & conditioner? I would love to pack as little as possible.....I already have to bring a coffee pot - I would love to leave the hairdryer at home!

We just got back and they do have hair dryers in the bathrooms. They do provide soap and a little shampoo bottle but we took those home as souveniers and just brought our own!! :flower:

We were there in Aug. '05, 50's bldg, and there was a hair dryer permanently affixed next to the sink, which is outside of the bathroom.
Have a great time!

Cool Beans! Don't have to pack the dryer. I stayed at the Hyatt in Chicago back in July. I asked for some extra conditioner since I have very thick hair.

So the maid there left me a ton of bottles. Which I am taking with me. I will let DS use the Mickey shampoo and ask for some extras to bring home.

What about bar soap? Is it on the sink or wrapped in Mickey paper?

Thanks!

Nope - you can't even request a coffee pot. There is coffee in the food court, but from what I understand - it is really GROSS! (some sort of liquid instant coffee). I am picking up a 4 cup pot for $10 at walmart & bringing my own coffee. :drinking1

Our king/handicapped-accessible room at the end of July did not have a hairdryer. I had posted your same question prior to our trip. Everyone replied that "yes" the rooms had dryers. Thus, I did not take a hairdryer. Fortunately, one was delivered to our room within just a few minutes of my call. Whew!! I do NOT have what you might call wash-and-wear hair!!

I will definitly bring my own pot then ... I am a coffee snob and really hate "bad" coffee (I do not even like the coffee my own mother makes :rotfl: :rotfl: )
Thanks for the tip Stephanie ... I will be going to Walmart too, DH says there is a nice stainless steel 4 cup one out on the market that will travel much easier than glass and perhaps I will pick up some Starbucks Holiday Blend just to get into the spirit of things  .

Like a few of the others have mentioned, I have stayed in a PC room that did not have a hair dryer. No big deal as no one in my family uses a hair dryer. But for this July's vacation, our PC room did have a hair dryer. Here's a photo of what was mounted on the wall of the vanity area of our room: click here.

If a hair dryer is important, please bring one from home. If it's not important, then call Housekeeping and request to borrow one of theirs if your resort room does not come equipped with one.

Have a wonderful vacation.
