We've got a week booked starting 11/24, but I'm contemplating switching to the following week, going on 12/3 instead. I just read on another board that the first week of December is Pop Warner football week.

Is this true? And if so, will it affect the parks much? I was thinking of switching weeks just for the sake of no crowds, now I'm not sure. :confused3

It won't affect the crowds at the parks. The only place you will feel any impact is if you stay at the same resorts as they are. Then the food court and pools become very crowded and it can be noisy.

The mostly stay at the values and some filter over into the moderates. Not sure which moderates though.

If you are staying at CSR, you shouldn't have a problem. They mainly stay at values and moderates but avoid CSR since it's a convention resort.

actually we switched our reservations over to POR since we booked the MYW w/ dining.

Some might be staying at POR. Be prepared for the food court and pools to be crowded with pre-teens/teens.

Anyone know the exact dates of Pop Warner football? this may be a good excuse to switch over to OKW. ;)
