Pop Warner week..........2016 (Yeah I plan that far ahead)

Hi Dis'ers. We have 3 Disney vacations planned for 2016 (Family wedding in 2015 keeping us away from home )
#1 is a Disney Marathon trip with a group of friends, we're already booked and paid for at the BWV studio.
#2 is a Disney Cruise in March to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday!!! This one will be paid in a month.
#3 is a early December 2016 visit for the Christmas decorations. Its this trip I haven't booked yet.

For the December trip we're looking at spending a couple of nights at AOA (my wife's a graphic artist) and then the last 5 days at AKV (we'll rent a savannah view studio........well that's the plan )
We're looking at the first full week of December which is usually the week they tape the Christmas parade and its also Pop Warner week. Crowds and prices are historically lower during this week.........(I know that means nothing today )

I'm wondering if anyone has booked or is planning on booking this similar week in 2015 and what your expectations are for the kids staying at AOA? Since its only Donna and I we won't be getting a suite so its a Mermaid room for us. Is AOA a usual location for the Pop Warner kids? I've looked at previous posts on this subject and haven't seen that AOA is a Pop Warner resort. Curious what others are expecting and have seen previously!

They don't typically stay at AoA. Last year was All Stars, CBR, CSR. They may have overflowed to Pop.

I just started a thread about this week. I chose a post cruise as opposed to pre cruise stay because of the "low crowds" during that week. Keeping my son out of school an extra 4 days on top of the week he'll be out while we're on the cruise.
But the monorail resorts are almost fully booked for that week already!!!! I have 4 nights tpv at CR reserved from last month..was checking to see if could reduce to 3.

Here's the thing- Thanksgiving week shows A TON of availability at Poly/CR/GF - yet that is supposed to be a high crowd time?? I'm totally confused and worried. If crowds are high 12/3-12/7 I would rather change my res to 11/22-11/26.
