How does Pop Warner affect Disney World ?

I understand most of the day they are at Wide World of Sports. How about the parks at night.

We are staying at Riverside. I understand most of them are at the All Stars.

I'm worrying about Regis at the MK on Sat. 12/1 and then the football players and cheerleaders invading on Monday 12/3/07

Any thoughts? :wizard:

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

If you go on the theme parks board and do a search you will find many threads on this topic. They run the gamut from "I didn't even notice the Pop Warner kids" to "the Pop Warner kids ruined our vacation!"

My opinion is just go and have a great time! There is some kind of tour group or event at WDW almost every day of the year.

They will not effect your trip that much at all. For the most part, when my friend heads there for Pop Warner he spends little to no time at the parks at all. "Maybe an hour or two if he is lucky" is what he says all the time

Keep in mind that WDW schedules a lot of these things during these times because they need the business and it brings people who normally would not be there into the world, as opposed to Christmas week or during the summer. So the amount of people should not effect your trip at all. If worse comes to worst, you can always get park hoppers and hop out of the park if it starts getting super packed.

I would most likely avoid the whole regis/MK day and choose another park to go to that day or take advantage of all the people watching him and ride rides until the show breaks then hop out of there and somewhere else.
