Pop Ups MIE

Every time I sign onto the *DIS* I get at least 10 pop ups from Microsoft Internet Explorer. It's so frustrating.
Anyone else get these? What can I do about it?
I ahve AOL and I have the blocking pop-up button on but it's obviously not working.

Get the Google Toolbar. That really helps, or you could switch your browser to Mozilla - it's got a pop-up blocker built in.

You could also get a firewall software. Most of them will have pop-up blocker features.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to install some firewall software. It's just odd that's it's only when I'm on the DIS.

I have a firewall and I STILL get pop-ups.

I use Norton Internet Security 2004 (antivirus too) and I rarely get pop ups. One time though, I turned off NIS and got a pop up that I actually visited and got a $50 VISA gift card for signing up to NetFlix.

I already have the Norton Internet security.
My husband went on today and did something to get rid of it.
