Pop to Universal & back

What's the best way to get to Universal from Pop Century, taxi or shuttle? Want to get there a little before opening..not sure what time the shuttle comes and how many other places it goes before heading to Universal? Anyone have experience with one or the other?

Last week my DW and I called Happy Limo from the room and had a town car pick us up and bring us back to POP. We went to SW! He even suprised us with a limo for the ride back. The driver was there on time both times. I would def use them again.

Town car sounds nice but on a budget and not looking to spend alot on a just ride....i know a shuttle is around $15 for round trip...i think?

I think mears is like 16 dollars one way or maybe it was roundtrip I know it was very cheap!

Mears is around 16 dollars round trip. All you have to do is call them a day before to tell them what time you would like to be picked up and then when you are at the parks you need to give them (I think) a call an hour ahead of when you want to be picked up. I have used this company many times and I have always had a good experience.

if you're savvy with public transportation (It does require a transfer), you could take the LYNX bus for $3RT per person (kids 6&under are free).

Good thought, but it's a vacation and don't want to be bothered with those kinda of details....mears sounds like the best bet to me right now...who knows...things might change when we get there?

i'm an explorer by nature, whereas DH shares your viewpoint--so, no adventures for us on our vacations either
