Including waiting in line to board how long does it usually take to get from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios in the morning? Is it longer when people are trying to get in for early entry?

Including waiting in line it will take from 20/25 minutes to one hour. Some people get in line even earlier to get to HS at rope drop.

Yes, the line is longer when people are trying to get in for early entry.

The line is the biggest factor. The skyliner operates at one speed so it is just a mater of how many people get in line before you.

We were at AoA last summer. DHS EE began at 8:00 a.m. that week. We got to the Skyliner station at 6:55 a.m. (10 minutes later than I had planned) to find the line snaked all the way back to Bldg. 3 in the 50s section at Pop. It looked like it would take at least 30 minutes for us to get on the Skyliner. We walked over to the end of the line and to my surprise, we were in flight by about 7:05. And according to the time stamp on my pictures, we were through security and standing in line to tap in at DHS at 7:20 -- and I know I didn't snap that picture the instant we got in line so we could have been there a minute or two before that. Don't be intimidated by the long line first thing in the morning. It moves *super* fast.

I am not going to wake up early so I can stand in line for 45 minutes to have an extra 30 minutes at the park.
I'm with you on this! I've stayed at POP often and just can't get myself up that early and wait in line (even though it does move fast once the Skyliner opens) for that extra 30 minutes in the park.

When we got on the CBR to HS Skyliner last February when it opened (90 minutes before EE? 60?), it was a walk-on.

I had to smile at this Bluezy, when I was training, on my second day I had an opening shift, the trainer said, come on we are going to open hourglass station.
Im thinking an empty station, we had to take the barricade down, turn on the lights.……… Nooooooooooooooooo
There had to be a few hundred people waiting, the line rolled down off the bridge , snaked around, disappearing in some spots and was past the bowling pin! Lol
It was the first time I actually got to be in the position of loading guest during a rush. Lol. It can be a little intimidating to say the least. I think they do that the first thing your second day to see if you come back for the rest of the training. Lol.
