Pop Rooms Just Opened for Aug-Sept Free Food...

CM just told me POP rooms opened for our time Aug.26th-Sept.5th..07. and many others this morning. I have been trying for weeks to get POP but they were all gone the day the General Public Free Dining was released so I was Shocked when today I was told that a group of rooms at the POP were released this morning.In a matter of fact the CM was Surprised herself that they had opened rooms at the POP... I switched from the ASMo's preferred to the POP Century Perferred.. Yippie! Just giving heads up if anyone else has been trying to get POP Century. Good Luck and let us know if you were able to get your dates..

Thanks we just switched from All Stars Sports from Sept. 7th - 17th to the POP!!!! I can't wait Mojitos here we come.

Wow that's great. We took ASSP for the free dining but I have been calling everyday to try to switch to POP. I call at 7 am everyday but no luck yet. How did you get yours just by calling?

There have been lots of rroms that I opened up at POP for free dining. I just switched from POFQ ot POP the other day. When I looked on the website this morning, there still seemed to be plenty of availability

Yes I called WDW CM's Sat. Morning and the guy I spoke with was very helpful but he couldn't book it for me due to the fact that I had to call my TA to have them change my ressies so I did and the called me back and said I had been POPPED!!!!

I would just keep calling all times of the day I know this is a hassle but it will pay off in the end. Good Luck

I orginally tried to get Pop preferred but it was full and I took ASMo preferred instead. I have been debating back and forth about trying to switch to Pop.

May I ask what it is about Pop that you like better than ASMo's?

I tried last night, and there was no Pop rooms available.

I said to him--but there is on the website.

The CM told me that looking on the website doesn't really help unless you are looking particularily at the free dining one on there.
There is rooms available for no free dining. But none with free dining.
Know what I mean?

WOOHOO ! Thanks everyone ! We were just able to switch our group to Pop Century Sept 15 - 22nd ! We are so excited now. We have a group of 4 families going together and we were able to change all of us to Pop. I booked mine and one others as Preferred for Pop. The other 2 booked standard.

Wahooooooo for me too. We just were able to change for ASSP to POP which is where we originally started but then had to change for the free dining. Wow now I feel all is right with the World (Disney that is)

I got all of our reservations moved over to Pop...one last week, the other was Saturday I think, and the other this morning (all from ASMo preferred)...we're going:

Sept 13-17 (package 1)
Sept 17-30 (package 2)
Sept 21-26 (package 3 - for our friends)

ETA: Oh...I always checked online first (through the free dining link) and then called when I saw it open up.

Now I'm back they just opened up Pop for my dates this evening. Please put us down for Sept 13-23rd once again. Now where do I get one of those funny looking monkeys. I have been half heartedly reading just bits of the thread thinking I wouldn't be there to join in on Monkey Mojito madness.

Also if anyone is interested we are getting people together on the 15th for the Illumnations Dessert Party at Epcot right now the cost per person is 35/36 with a 10 deposit if you are interested pm me and i will get you all the details. Come and enjoy friendship and laughter and Chocolate.

Well, thanks to you OP. I was able to switch to a non preferred room @ the POP/w free dining, August 27-Sept 5! I was also able to have my parents moved from ASMU to POP the same dates. My mother is now so stoked. She loves the POP, and also loves being on the same resort as me. Yipeeee!!

Great!!! Sounds like fun & I love Mojito's!!!! I have to pass on the Dessert party, but will definitely stop by the pool on the 13th to toast the Dis!!!!!
