Pop room request

Hello. We were able to get the free ticket upgrade for the water parks this morning, but had to switch from a preferred room to a standard room. I asked our AAA TA to request Poolside, 50's Building, as I thought that was considered a standard room from looking at a map on one of the threads. The CM said that all poolside rooms are considered preferred. Is that accurate? Any other suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!!

CM is wrong.

SOME are, sure - half the pool-facing rooms in building one and half the pool-facing rooms in building three - but the other half of the pool-facing rooms in these two buildings, plus ALL such rooms in building two, are standard.

We stayed last year in Building 2 facing the 50's pool, and it was standard. We loved the location.
