POP Room Layout

I have made a reservation at POP and requested a room with a King bed. I know the request is not guaranteed but my requirements have changed. Since that time my daughter and her 2yr aske to come along. Can anyone describe the king rooms? Is there a pull out couch?

I had a King Room in Feb.. loved it.. it was perfect for us and what we needed.

Nope, no pull out couch. But I do believe (someone can correct me if wrong) that POP has cots (rollaways.. whatever). It is layed out so a cot would fit alright.

The king rooms do not have any type of fold-out couch and there ar enot roll-aways available for regular use by guests. Our own ChipandDaleExpress, an CM at POP has stated the only ay roll-aways are allowed at POP are for situations when someone arrives late and there are only king rooms available and there are three people in the party. If you're going to have additional people, just remove the request you have for a king bed, and you'll get one with two doubles, plenty of room for your party size.

While we're on the subject of King rooms...

...has anyone who's stayed in one at POP had a free refridgerator? Just was reading a trip report on mouseplanet where the reporter had a free refridgerator in her king room at ASMo. She said that she heard a rumor that the King rooms are the handicapped rooms so that's why they had a fridge free of charge. Anyone else heard this? Anyone know if there's any truth to that (and if it holds true at POP)?

I'm staying at POP in Sept and have a request in for a King room. If we got it, it would certainly be a nice bonus to have a fridge for free!

clueless on the policy but my King did not have one. It was a king room but not a handicapp King (no zero entry shower or hand rails etc).

Yes, and no. SOME king rooms will have a tiny fridge built into the TV stand that was designed to hold medicine. As such, it is small, and can probably hold 2-3 cans of soda.

We took a queen size blow up mattress and it fit along the wall where the t.v. is. My two boys actually fight over who gets the air matress!
