staying at POP Dec 15-22. I am curious what drinks are you allowed to refill your mug with. Considering I have 2 little ones, I wanted to know if milk, choc. milk, and hot choc were options.

Do the mugs seal shut?? Could I fill them and pack them in our backpack into the park??

Thanks for your input;)

I don't believe you can put milk or chocolate milk in the refillable cups (well, you could, but you'd have to pay for it first!) but hot chocolate is allowed. I would advise against filling them and leaving in your bag. They are not spill proof.

you cannt bring them to a park,,they will leak all over,,,its not worth the trouble.but iv been useing mine for 8 years now 3 to 4 times a year.

After I take mine to a park, when Im finished I rinse them, put a paper towel in it and put it in a zip loc bag

They seem to slow down the drink if you happen to knock it over but it doesn't stop anything.

As for what drinks, you can put in soda, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Pop also has frozen cokes that you can get when the machine is working.

thanks for the replies :)

I guess I should have worded my question better. My backpack has slots for a cup to go in. I didn't expect the cup to be completly leak proof. You know how some coffee mugs have just an opening and others have a valve you can turn to open and close the top...that is what I was getting at.

We don't plan on spending a whole lot of time at POP..but if I could fill our mugs each morning on the way out and again when we come in for lunch, it would seem I would get my monies worth.

Thanks again:goodvibes

Yes, they do have the sliding shut valve.

I believe there is also apple juice and lemonade available.

thanks...that is what I was wanting to know :)

does anyone have pics of the mugs?? Is there only one or are there a variety to choose from.

Is that new? The mugs I have just have a drinking spout on the top of the lid. They don't seal shut at all.

They used to have 2 sizes: the "fat" one that doesn't have the reclosable top and the "skinny" one that fits in a car cup holder and does have the reclosable top. This was when they were specific to Pop Century, etc.

When we were there in Sept. all they had was the skinny ones. These were the YOAMD ones. Someone had posted a picture of them awhile back. I'll see if I can find it.

Okay, here it is:

Can you get a "Pop" mug or are there only YOMD mugs ? Already have a YOAMD mug and really wanted just a Pop mug for the collection we have.

Just wanted to say that your 50th Birthday Bash sounds like it's going to be one hell of a PARTY!!! Have fun!!! :bday:

To the OP, you can fill them with soda, coffee, tea, apple juice and anything that comes out of the fountain drink area. Milk and Chocolate Milk is not included, but Hot Chocolate is.
