We will be making a holiday trip this December and staying for the first time at POP. I have been reading the boards, and haven't found the answer to a couple of questions, so here's hoping someone might be able to help. flower3:

Do the showers at POP have the shower curtain rods that curve that gives you a little extra room in the shower?

Can anyone recommend a good location that would be a close walk from the parking lot, a nice view (trees, lake, etc) and quiet? We are ok to upgrade to a premium location.

Thanks!

I'm also going to Pop for the first time, in early November. So I don't have any first-hand knowledge for you. But in my research I came up with a few things that might help a little.

This is a map of Pop Century showing the different building locations, and the preferred room locations. Hope this helps. http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/...read/PopCenturyMap2012RoomCategoriesFINAL.jpg

On the Pop Picture Thread, Chapter 2, I thumbed through some pages and found a partial tub picture. It doesn't seem to indicate a curved shower rod. There's not really too many pics of Pop tubs. Must not be too photogenic. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2302772&page=27

Here's a link to the latest Pop Century Thread. First page is very informative. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2914418

I do not beleive the showers have the curved curtain rods, best I remember we were there in February. I have a map of the resort right here so I will look at it. 50 & 60 Bowling pin area is close to the luggage check in if you are using air transportation. We stayed in room 1148 ground floor corner room great location real close to the front. It was a prefered location. Our last trip we stayed in the 70's area it is to the left of the main check in area, not a bad walk. My son as for prefered room and got a second floor facing the parking lot. I would not have called that preferred, we had ground floor building next to him. They gave us a handicap room which was nice had a big bathroom but not tub and I like a nice hot bath at the end of the day. During Feb was chilly at night.I ask for another room but resort was full. I like the POP Century but to be honest I did get tired of the same old breakfast items. Prescambled eggs etc. We had free dining quick service and chose to eat there. After the second day I just got fruit and a bagel. I am not a picky eater but pancakes, waffles always cold,. You can find maps on line.:drive:
